that £150 is one of those one off deals probably its not a common price across the board i could get the saw wholesale for that price but not sell it at that price i have the PS-350sc here which is semi pro with a low kickback safety chain £199 + vat perfect for cutting up pallets and also light enough for a carving bar cutting up pallets is'nt a job for a big saw thats my opinion :thumbup:

here is another idea the dolmar ps-32c or ps-350sc with a low pro 3/8 low kickback chain and then a 1/4 carving bar and chain for your wood carving :thumbup:

before you decide i will throw another into the Dolmar PS-6100 18'' or 20'' 3/8 7 or 8 pin sprocket whatever suits you simple design easy start powerful very torquey and bang in the middle of your price range

yes Eddy it makes sense THOSE older do33 bars are so heavy and deep the 9010 was sold in the usa with the smaller bar studs and smaller hole bar plates, i have a selection here genuine dolmar , it makes life easier i can use so many more bars now rather than the standard dolmar 29'' 74cm solid nose zapping power :thumbup:

as Harvey and Blg J said it's a big old saw not as agile as some but built like a tank i have a photo on the chainsaw photo thread i think its on page 26 i have one here and i love the old hammer its totally old skool i can get parts very easy and fairly quickly if needed my prices for this saw are dearer than the makita version but the EU version of this saw comes with d033 bar mounts i have the conversion kit that you can use D009 mounts so your options are varied and any large husqvarna bars will fit iam sure mr SAW TROLL likes this saw

hello J the 6100 is'nt electronic it has memory power ignition and easy start but no electronic tuning it does'nt even have a cat muffler it is a tad heavier than the competition but worth it :thumbup:

the makita EA6100 and the Dolmar PS-6100 are both the same power output and are becoming more popular its a good strong saw defiantly worth a try

on your way down to the lizard you could visit TREBAH gardens near falmouth they have been put on the national tree register this year with several champion trees open all year round
