nice move a giant step onto the red side
  5. that sounds a good set up you have there it should run nice and quickly the 70-cc to 80cc will be light enough for smaller stuff and big enough for the big butts good luck in finding the right one ther are some good suggestions
  6. this sounds like the sort of size saw you would need 70cc-80cc good power to weight ratio also the dolmar PS-7310 OR PS-7910 would work well on a 18'' up to a the optimum 24'' which is perfect for this saw :thumbup1: if the 24' wont cut the mtr lengths for splitting then you will have no chance of lifting them up for splitting without a grab or army of helpers
  7. if you contact your nearest racecourse they might need some for there jumps or your local hunt for there point to point fences
  8. gotta be worth £111 any day :thumbup1:

  10. thats a good deal you had there keep us updated plenty of photo's good luck with your purchase and its got the ko95 bar mounts so you can use so many different bars
  11. just watching this program on channel 523 its the episode called san fransisco dungeon they have some 12ft giant sequoi butts they are cutting up using a husqvarna 3120 and a whopping 13ft bar never seen a bar like that
  12. if the show was on a weekend that it does'nt clash with the local vintage rallies , its a great idea and a great location for a real traditional wood fair that would attract alot of local and regional crafts people as you know the two local point to points at kilworthy and cherrybrook always get good sponsorships and donations from local companies and are well supported and i have close links with the sonrise appeal in tavvy and local companies are brilliant in helping in any way as Goaty says there are so many different exhibitors that could come and join in
  13. sounds good these type of rural rustic shows are popular with visitors i could probably organise a rack saw and if you get the dates right you could have a vintage tractor display and something that would be would an old chainsaw and woodland tools exhibition
  14. has anyone heard about needing buisness rates or registering with local council's for the patch of land where you sell eggs and logs outside a domestic dwelling ,as someone i know has had a letter from the council about selling eggs and produce they have had a form to fill out about what they had been selling
  15. varied opinions on heated handles, it has to be a good thing on the wet days to help dry out the hand contact between chainsaw and operator making it safer

this saw has proved itself all over the world in standard form and wood's ported an excellent power to weight ratio chainsaw but it would be more inline with the power and weight of the husqvarna 376xp rather than the 372xp
  17. here is a better price for the solo 646 ebay item number on ebay 1214 7455 2897 its alot of saw for that money
