you may know this but was this saw the same as the dolmar PS-510 or the PS-5100s as some of these did have heat distribution problems in the early days :thumbup:

great choice of saws there the 115 is good for most jobs a time proven design that has'nt changed in years the 7910 is a brilliant saw in standard form great saw to port you must buy some more build your collection up :thumbup:

hello bill why dont you put the 15''bar on then get the saw tuned by somebody you know and trust can tune a saw properly and you will see when the saw is up to the optimum revs if there are any running problems, the coil could be breaking down

hello rob and everybody at the moment makita said they are importing seven or eight dolmar products but if you want any other item out of the dolmar range you must purchase it from an EU country or purchase a makita equivilant from them i chose to go direct to germany for very quick delivery rates and 1st class service i will get a list of models that will be sold in the uk and put them up along with what size bar is recomended and any other information that will help anyone who is interested in the products i can get any Dolmar product in the german catalogue within days when it comes to log splitters chippers and circular saws there is a longer delivery time some of the forestry jackets and trousers have a 2-3 weeks order time Rob the american catalouge you have highlighted is not current with EU brochure there are some models that are for sale in the EU but not on sale in the US and vice versa here is a link to the dolmar catalogue in germany which is 2014/2015 sorry they have'nt considered an english catalogue yet but stranger things have happened but it translates well on the computer http://www.dolmarproducts.de.product.catalogue thanks everyone

very true :thumbup: i own husky saws, brushcutters i got stihl brush cutter hedge trimmers etc i stick up for the dolmar brand where applicable if there is something rubbish about a certain sachs dolmar, dolmar model i would be up there and say it but i dont feel the need to run down other brands just for the sake of it

hello i have sent you a PM regarding prices on these two saws both saws are proving to be good workhorses and reliable but beware chris you will be told that the PS-6100 is as wide as a bus, heavy as a ship's anchor and rev's out like a clapped out lawnmower :lol:

i got to agree with rob its a good selling platform and brilliant search engine and as a seller you can put your item on ebay.com for 15p and reach thousands of extra potential customers i have bought and sold loads of stuff just be alert and double check buyers and sellers, there are some great sellers of saw parts in the usa and if it wasnt for ebay would never have found them :thumbup:

the cat on that 420 does get a bit hot too jon your saw had a different carb from mine when we put them together if i remember correctly i see there where two different carbs used and three different muffler's one cat and two non cat i put the early EU exhaust on mine
