  2. douglas smells lovely on first and second thinning the sap sacs help waterproof your saw trousers when stacking :thumbup: rowan or mountain ash stinks even worse when you burn it :thumbdown: cat's peee:thumbdown::thumbdown:

  8. hello i just took these pictures yesterday and i thought i would share them with everybody this tree is a superb specimen i was hoping someone could tell me where the biggest plain tree is in the uk i put my logging tape around the base and this is the measurement 27foot 9inches 8.44 mtrs i was suprised :001_huh::thumbup:

    today i was reading that harold wilson closed more mines and put more people out of work in his two terms of office than MRS T did in her three terms of office and he is described as a left wing hero ''hello'' '' lady thatcher may not have slain all her dragons she fought but she certainly fought them'' is there a thread about micheal foot , neil kinnoch, harold wilson , who were routed out on election nights by the unpopular MRS T:thumbup:

    well said iam the same worked hard all my life never claimed the dole once. if i never had enough money just worked extra hours simples:thumbup: i did a stint in the late eighties roofing at the dockyards on peice work on some of the high buildings you wouldnt beleive how many dockyard workers had sunbeds, seats, hideaways these sort of things destroyed industry and wasted public money :thumbdown:

    iam glad:thumbup: we only had tooo wonder what it would it have been like without MRS T at the helm and another thing all the goverments after mrs thatcher be it labour or conservative didnt change hardly any of her policies she put into place how many of these people who are buying this awful song in the charts were actually born or even heard of the singer/ song:confused1:
  12. if you went to a pub quiz and was asked the question name two prime ministers most peoples answers would be margeret thatcher and winston churchill:thumbup: she led this country when young and old would work and get there hands dirty when most people were cash poor and time rich now people will cry to brussells if they break a nail and iam not talking about the women:001_smile: now we are cash rich and time poor i know i would sooner be the former any day R.I.P MRS T.

    paddy goes in a pub and orders three pints of guinness and sits down, barman comes over and says to paddy'' why down you just have one pint and i will bring the other two over'' paddy replies '' no '' let me explain i have a brother in canada and a brother in australia now we all go to a pub on a friday at 8pm and order three pints of guiness to drink to each others health this carries on for a couple of weeks then on the third week paddy comes in and orders two pints of guiness barman thinks oh dear one brother must have died the following week paddy came in and ordered two pints of guiness and the barman says to paddy'' iam sorry to see one of your brothers have died'' paddy replies'' what do you mean'' barman says ''you have only been ordering two pints of guiness lately and i thought one of your brothers had passed on'' paddy replies ''no no my brothers are all fit and well, it s me i have given up drinking :thumbup:

  20. did you find the dolmar bar deeper and heavier than the husky bar my 5105 is on the 13'' husky bar and at the moment been cutting un brashed sitka and it is going so well ''''it has an appetite for destruction''''' :thumbup:

  22. i have two older mcculloch saws a 10 10 automatic and a promac 850 super and they are both running well:thumbup: now they are made in the husky corporation it looks very similar to the husky design ie model 445e but maybe a big thumbs down:thumbdown:
