  2. i went on Buy Lawnmowers UK at tavistock devon where i buy alot of things online and this is the new thing that you have to do now to buy stihl/viking equipment from them stihl/viking have imposed restrictions on how their products are sold on the internet you need to enter a passcode as issued by us in order to buy these products online in order too buy you need too have the following qualifications 1 previous customers who we know have experience with tools 2 commercial operators i.e gardening farming landscaping business 3 govermental ground maintainence proffesionals 4 licenced chainsaw operatives and you can fax your certificates to there office to set up a account
  3. yes totally agree they supply mvf who is the biggest farm cooperative in the south west and i know that radmore &tucker supply alot of councils with there groundscare equipment
  4. has anyone sent an email too stihl head office concerning they wall street crash in sales of proffesional equipment yesterday i sent a very very long email to dolmar in germany yesterday explaining about stihl new policy and how it is affecting the proffesionals in the uk and they could be missing a huge oppurtunity of not supplying there equipment in the uk and makita uk was sent the same email both being told to take alook at all the disgruntled posts on the internet and it isnt everybodys cup of tea to take a blue and white chainsaw out to the woods and use it all day i dont suppose i will get a reply but after seven days i will resend it to all dolmar and makita dealers i can find on the internet and see if anybody dribbles back to hq ha ha

  8. yes i have the Dr wheeled trimmer as well, perfect machine light and handy to use have a look at http://www.dr/tree-chopper amazing machine for cutting trees up to 4'' diameter
  9. iam sorry the link wont open up it was one the 10 pm news last night on bbc 1 it is posted on the bbc website concerning woodchip from usa the pictures and the write up about it is staggering, the pile of woodchip this guy is standing on is massive it doesnt make sense that this is substainable and a good move for the future

  21. i been running a 3/8 18'' bar and chain on mine and it it cuts perfectly fast and smooth the 7pin 3/8 sprocket rim is nearly the same diameter as the 8pin .325 sprocket and it fits without any mods worth a try if your cutting hardwood:thumbup:
