  4. yes i agree with jon pay the saw operator when its measured on the trailer that way you dont have to worry about saws and operators fulfilling there full potential:thumbup: this would be a perfect job for a hungry 5105 they love cutting it by the cubic metre:thumbup1::thumbup1:

  8. hello paul i know what you mean i travel up to sw10 area and when i gotta stay there i get fed up:thumbdown: yes you gotta go where you feel happiest there are many caves in this green and pleasent land some full with cider and some full of beer :thumbup:

  13. yes i agree totally:thumbup: i cut alo tof walking sticks and 8/10 times the best stick in a clump of hazel is in the centre and the silky is right in there no ptoblem where as the bowsaw is catching on the other sticks plus the silky is back in the holster both hands free to carry the walking sticks :thumbup:

  24. hello yes i said i will donate £10 and i will as soon as i can find out 100% where to send it :thumbup: that helmet was perfect for the day:thumbup1: maybe get some ear defenders and visor and sell them as chainsaw helmets but not online though:lol::
  25. this is a very good point and a very good post:thumbup::thumbup: i sell alot of logs throughout the year and i only sell mixed loads its just the way it gets stacked some loads will be 15% softwood some will be 50% softwood but all the wood will be well seasoned and most of the softwood used will be wood that isnt good enough for timber ie knotty or croooked so the wood is heavier if it is knotty there are always people that complain but thats my deal so take it or leave it people buy the lognets no problem full of softwood i would sooner have a nice load of douglas rather than a load of turkey oak any day :thumbup:
