  1. Took one of our 200t's and a 361 in for a service- here is the 200 when I picked it up. Not very happy!

  3. Bloody fantastic here Everybody is a genius- if you judge a fish by its ability to climb trees, it will spent its entire life believing its stupid.
  4. Dont know about you guys but I love jobs like that! Something a little bit deferent- makes you think a bit.

  6. At home we store our wood along the garage then they get put in the wee store by the back door. Cost nothing to make, holds just under 2 cube
  7. She's a 9t Mazda Titan. Just a wee bit smaller than our old. 13t Isuzu FTR, she was a bit slow going up the Dunedin hills!

  9. We use them- there great. You get a invoice at the end of the month- no need to worry about keeping bits of paper. The company we use even do bulk supply, which is handy. The only disadvantage I would say is your limited were you can use it. But it's not that big a deal.
  10. I once worked for a fella and the speck was to "remove green tree in rear garden" The rear garden was full of trees!

  17. Hot and dry- not had rain for 8 weeks now. Water tanks are getting low. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. I pay my guys from when they get to the yard (8) to when they leave (4.30- 6) I also pay them for sick days. Even if there beer sick do you really want them on site? I've worked for some real in the past and determined not to treat my staff the same. If you look after your staff they will look after you. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  20. We've just got broken into over the weekend- second time in 3 years. Nothing major- just smashed locks and stolen batteries out of the chippers. Out bandit is running like a bag of poo today- not sure if they have been tampering with it. Will fine out by the end of the day. Will have to have a serious think about moving the yard home now.   21. Here in NZ softwood is burnt all the time. Mainly Pine, Macrocarpa and fir. You get a descent log on the fire- whatever it is... She burns well! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  24. Cutting a sheet of ply with a circular saw (two days after moving house) saw kicked back and got caught in my rugby jersey, pulling it in. I cut all the way through to my intestines- scored a helicopter ride to the hospital! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
