  4. Slightly different . A dodgy looking trav came into my dealer a few years back with a Husky pro saw ( can't remember what now ) wanting to sell it . My dealer said yea might be interested but got to give it the once over in the work shop first though so took it in the back . One of the other guys checked the number against a list that had been issued amongst the dealers and low and behold it was nicked . Called the police . Bloke went app but did not hang around . drove out the yard like a loony . Think they got him in the end along with some others ......
  5. Brilliant fire wood but stove only as it can pop and spit . Goes off like concrete when dry so if you are going to hand split it do it green .

  7. Ok . I have a Burley . That is up there . Also Morso , Clearview , etc etc Do a search there are several posts .
  8. Strictly speaking you should you both halves if you find a bottom end as they are matched to a degree . You could find one that is on bottom limit and yours may be on top limit if you see what I mean .

    oils automatically with the addition of a thumb operated pump you can press every now and then to pump a little extra oil . helps on longer bars .
  10. My 385 got stolen out of the back of the chipper so bought a 390 to replace it . Did not make 385 anymore .
  11. Small screw on top of exhaust can . Remove it then slide the mesh screen out and put both in a small plastic bag , place in a draw and forget about them .....

  13. Just got an email from my bro in Aus , near Perth . He says last week it was 42 degrees ! cooled down to 38 degrees now though Jon ............
  14. An old farmer mate of mine used to say " that ones a goodun , Its got the Cummins engine " So I guess he rated them .....
  15. Know what you mean . We have 2x Husky long reach hedge cutters . Pretty much identical to look at . Mine is a 325 and Steves is the newer one , a 327 or something . His has the " newer " ( read cheaper ) carb and keeps playing up where as mine keeps going and going ..............
  16. I have a Husky one . Had it for 10 or 12 years . Used it 10 or 12 times ! But totally reliable and works a treat .

  19. Yea I suspect you are right . It had the walker saw shop sticker on thats all .
  20. Last 2 days have been fine . Hard frost this morning . My bud was up an ash we were taking down . Ice on the limbs , rope was frozen etc etc . BUT it was not raining ! ! ! !
