1. Thats a cracker ! Black Shadow in a Feather bed Atlas frame ?
2. I remember the LE and its not so common air cooled un faired version . Don't remember plod riding them but they did ride the Ariel Leader . That was covered in a lot of tin work .....
3. Depends on how its heat treated . The impax I suggested is a mould tool steel that is abrasion resistant and tough . Used in injection moulds that use glass filled plastics .
4. Went to cut a hedge and ended up dismantling a piano to get it out of the house and taking it to the tip ..
5. My 390 runs a 28" .375 . The only thing that has happened is an exhaust bolt came loose soon after I bought it ( bought to replace my stolen 385 ) tightened it up and been fine ever since .
6. Some hp in your avitar 9630R ?
7. Can only comment on the 390 as I have one . Very pleased with mine . Had it ported by spud which makes it even better .
8. If you got a chimney fire you usually get a good roaring sound from above . I don't think you have a problem .
9.
Yep all ok here bud .. We got bizzie now . work coming in . What needs doing to the pole cutter ...? wondered how you got on with it ..

10. Mine does the same . The chimney breast in the loft warms up nicely . I have a room up there . Stove really does heat the whole house .
11.
Hi Steve . Hope you are well bud and everything is ok with you and yours . Regards Andy .

12. Oh I'm ok with anything bud . Its just her I was considering and what she might think of us . Any ways we are a long time dead ! here , have a smily from me !
13. No but when she posted a picture of herself in some ppe ( climbing hat ) several people fell about posting little laughing faces with thumbs up replies and i just thought we were all back in the playground . I like a laugh and don't mind having the piss taken out of me or amongst your selves but when its a new person with a genuine question I kinda thought it was bad form . I will get my head down now .....
14. I was a little embarrassed at the piss taking in this thread when all she was doing was asking for help/info . What is so flippin funny about someone wearing a climbing hat whilst on the ground ?? How many climbers swap hats as soon as they touch the deck ??
15. The 365 is "old school " tried and tested and you can " lean on it " and it would give you good service for years . The 560 is " new school " and so far , after the initial probs seems to be good . They are not old enough to be put in the same reliable slot as the 365 but that does not mean they wont be ...I would say the 560 is an Italian sports car, Ferrari etc ,and the 365 is an American V8 pony car , Mustang etc if you see what I mean ....
16. I did the same on mine with the hotter plug . All good .
17. No 1 all over with the clippers every 5 weeks or so . So no style really !
18. Yea but its not even 90degrees , more like 45 surely ??
19. Ah . My register plate is not open to the flue . The liner comes right into the spigot of the stove so no soot can fall on the register plate .
20. When sweeping I just remove the top baffle and vermiculite board and sweep it through the stove . All the soot collects in the stove and I just vac it out . No need to remove the stove ......
21. My advice would be to get a T540 . We have both and the 201 is pants next to the 540 .......
22. Got one of the first 560 saws in 2011 . Had some warranty fixes done in the first few weeks and that's nearly 2 years now and it never misses a beat . best 60cc saw I have ever owned .
