    bar length

Its the " working length " not the total . Should be written on the bar down at the mount end .

    Love it.

Modded muffler made by a guy in the U.S. using a stainless to mild steel welding technique . There is a formula for the optimum area against engine capacity which he has done a lot of work on . The motor has had a porting job done by spud and with the high top filter and modded muffler it really goes like a nutter !
  4. Only experience I have of them is my T540 came with a 14" as standard .

    Zombie apocalypse

I new a bloke like that .... used to start by telling you which sock he put on first that morning .... mogodon Kev we called him ....
  7. I stay on the ground if I can help it my mate does most of the climbing . What I am saying is they seem to be ok for ground work now when initially I found them too stiff . My feet are wide and they have enough room to acomodate them without pressure points . I could happily wear them all day in the woods if needs be .
  8. Just a quick addition . Been wearing the Zermatts for a while now and am liking them more for stomping about . Very comfortable . Prefer them over my Meindels now as my feet are short but wide .
  9. Luckily we were well away from any buildings . way out in the sticks . problem was had no idea how to price the job ( it will be on going , loads wanted doing ) but just a toe in the water for one day if you see what I mean .
  10. We have a 540A . Superb bit of kit .....
  11. You got sewn in ground sheets on the tents , yea ? just leave them . Habitat for all kinds .....Why make work ?

  15. Don't want em dead . just want em wishing they were if you get my point ...
  16. Our instinct is to crack on and get home . We do a good job and scratch up well and people have us back but the other day we were on " day rate " and due to habit found that we were still cracking on and finished the job before the day was up . We had to fanny around for an hour till the bloke came back . Sometimes it does pay to slow up some ...
  17. Don't know if its been mentioned but the |Husqvarna " techlite " bars might make it less nose heavy on that length . weather it would last as long as the Oregon I don't know .....
  18. I was favoring knee caps and elbows , see how they get on .......
  19. Its robbery with criminal damage what ever way you look at it . Add on taking money under false pretenses they need to be shot , several times .

    t540 xp

Had mine about a month now and no serious problems . Don't like being run right out of juice but that is not a regular occurrence . Needs to be revved hard to reset the A/T if you do . Got a bent A.V. spring at the rear underside . Not sure how it happened but does not seem to affect the handling of the saw at all . All in all a I think its way better than a 201 and slightly better than a 200 so win win for me .
  21. Stubby

    Love it.

Only a personal thing but I have had both and prefer the 372 .

    395xp

I think you will be well pleased . They respond to a muffler mod and also porting . Spud did one not long ago .
