    Who is at fault here rich ? Would it be the vessel that crossed the tow or was the tow too long ?
  2. No way could it have made it worse ! Ours is total pants . Got a T540 now so it dosn't get used . Glad its better bud !

  5. Go into the chainsaw forum . put in the search " drilling 201 " and there are several a few posts below yous all dealing with it .

  9. OK . Sure you got the ratio right ? try the same stuff in another saw that you know is fine and see if that smokes the same . If not you have another problem . Check that the air filter is clean and the choke is coming off fully . Check the color of the spark plug ( should be a light tan color ) if its dark and sooty its running rich for what ever reason . Carb problem then .
  10. Way too slow . taking 5 times as long . Pile of brash cut and chuck . In the time it took for them to get 2 chunks out the guy up the stick could have cut and dropped 4 or 5 more . Just the way I see it .....
  11. Morning Jon . Bit of rain over night ( coz we need it ) Clear blue sky so far ! No shooting to day so going to watch my daughter have a lesson on her pony .
  12. 50 : 1 is right as long as you are using a top quality oil . Don,t use the cheap garden center stuff . . Sounds like something else though . Where is the smoke coming from ? Exhaust or clutch ?

  16. I think the Chinese get asked to make a saw for pence ..so they oblige . I recon if you gave them a bigger budget it would be a better saw ......
  17. I just put to google " is tulip tree wood any good as fire wood ? " The answer I got is no . Its crap . I don't have first hand Knowles of this , its just what google said .....

  20. My long distance vision ( 500 yards onwards ) was a little impaired after the op but that has gradually come back . My close up vision ( put the pasty in a pre heated oven at 190c for 20 mins ) was instantly back . One of the tests was to read a card that said " printing of this size is the smallest print that can be produced legally for reading " or something like that . Its ten years on now and still works fine . I am almost 61 years old . Had it done at the London Vision Clinic in Harley street by the guy who pioneered the procedure .
