boots

I have smallish feet but wide ( 8 ) . Hobbit feet . Zermatts suit me too . Just with they were a little more supple .....
2. I like it a lot . Seen a simpler one on here a few moths back . Great for the no need to split stuff . Only needs one bloke with a bit of better positioning . Think I would prefer it to a saw bench as your body is never in line with the cutting and your hands are away from it to . The chain only runs when a log is in there . Think I like it better than the one where you have to crank the saw up and down . As said sharp chain would help . I want one .

I think what would help would be limiter stops like on the big Husky ground saws . They have a peg on one half and a and a circular raised ring centered about the peg on the other half . This would stop the two halves moving too far apart when the saw is dropped on its strop . .

To be honest my first one in the pic did not seem to affect ther saw at all

It minimizes the tendency for the spring to take a side shock load . My second one is not as bent .

I'm om my second . Don't drop it on your strop ./

As said use de comp . Not coz you are not hard and tough . Coz it save this happening . . There was an updated one . Don't know if you have the latest one ? Not really strong enough really . Like the rear a.v. spring on the T540 . Still; cracking saws though . I always use the decomp so not happened to me yet .....
8. Sort out some of the homeless ......
9. This new rain looks just like the old rain Jon !
10. Total wash out here in West Sussex Jon ......
11. What ever it is its very adjustable looking at all the mounting holes ...
12.
Happy new year Jon me old mucker ( 21 years ...not so old ! ) This old stubby will be 61 on January the 20th ! Not sure about getting tickets for Quins V Bath . Think I have to become a member . I am just a humble supporter !

13. The special also had the bottom end of a 372 so slightly over engineered saw that would go on for ever ....
14. Mine is 10 years old ! Recently ported by spud so not standard but the decomp valve is the original .
15. I'm happy with dollars Rich ....
16. I think that the " run in " period is a thing of the past now a days . With manufacturing tolerances more accurate . Do not " lean " heavily on a saw till the rings have bedded in but always cut with the throttle wide open .
17. [quote= If not Randy's repairs is you man. He has everything. Does he have this weeks winning lotto numbers ?
18. Strait back to dealer then . 2 year warranty I think . Get them to check it over ... Not good to use part throttle though . Flat out or tick over . They are ment to cut fl;at stick . Part throttle is part lubing on a 2 stroke .
19. I'v heard the 60cc Dollie is a cracking saw by the way ! Ok , fair cop ! I did have probs but all fixed under warranty a long time ago ( 2011 to be exact ) Since then all has been well .
20. My guess would be the de-comp buttons are not poping out when it fires . Could be a faulty batch of de-comps ? My 10 year old 372 XP pops it out on the first cough on choke and you have to push it back in for the next pull .
21. How long you had it then ?
