    Covid-19

I had the little fella in the white hat down for the win before the off . You could see his tension and commitment .
  6. And bloody covid got him in the end . Very sad .
  7. @spudulike ......
  8. I looks like a sorta " open fire " as that ash tray wont slide in the way its located . I presume the screen thing fits on the front were a door would be on a normal stove . Perhaps its not fully installed ? edit just seen the pipe on the back . Could this be for heating oil ?
  9. All the " conifer " I have burnt is superb fire wood . Pine is a conifer by the way . I prefer Leylandii though as its a bit denser . Larch is good also .
  10. Don't know about hedge cutters but I think Husqvarna saws are run up at the factory on alkylate fuel . Originally Aspen and now the Husqvarna version .
  11. The above is good advise especially if you choose to run it on an Alkylate fuel . Once the petrol has taken the coating of the rubber components the Alkylate fuel will not keep them soft on its own as it is not attacking the rubber like pump fuel .
  12. Has the key sheared perhaps putting it out of time ?

    Covid-19

106K deaths in the UK . 2.23M deaths world wide .
  14. Hi . You want one in your area I suppose .....
  15. Its a fish .
  16. When milling steel ( Different kind of mill ) you could induce " chatter " if you went too fast with the feed rate and/or the cutting speed . Change to a cutter with more teeth slow the cutting speed but up the feed rate slightly goes through like a hot knife in butter . Just trying to draw a parallel .
  17. Fair play .
  18. I'm no miller so , from a layman's point of view , and coming from an engineering background it looks like you have a sympathetic resonance there . The pitch of the teeth vibrating with the speed of cut against the feed rate . Or ... I could be talking bollox ...๐Ÿ™‚

    Covid-19

Was talking to a Polish guy I know . He is chef and works in a local private hospital . He is/was very fit and looks it also . He caught covid from his girlfriend ( she got a notification on the covid app on her phone ) he went down with it 3 days later . This was a month or so ago and he still feels he has no energy . Whilst he had it he seemed to waver up and down . One day he would feel really shit , the next day he thought he was over the worst only to feel shit again a day later . He is no longer infectious ( according to NHS guidlines ) but still suffering with sudden loss of energy . This I presume is " long covid " ?
  23. Got a V twin 20hp on a splitter ( Loncin ) and its good as gold . Genuine Honda parts will fit if need be but some of the Honda GX engines are made in China now anyway ...
