  1. So , for my birthday back in January I was given an "Everyman Racing " driving experience . I got to choose from Ferrari . Lambo , Aston , Audi R8 etc etc . I have chosen the Mercedes AMG . Just booked it for this coming Thursday . Its at Goodwood circuit which I know quite well having manages a 1min 28 second lap ( about 20 years ago ) on my Honda fireblade . It has been resurfaced since then but I do know were the track goes . Slightly different lines for a car than a bike I realize but am looking forward to it . Anyone else done this or similar ?
  2. Apparently a male blood donor ( who is a GP ) was turned away from a donor clinic as he refused to confirm if he was pregnant or not . This is NHS Scotland . FFS !
  3. Depends on age and species . It does go off like concrete if left too long before splitting and if its got that helical grain that some have its a machiene job only . Burnt quite a bit over the years and it is great fire wood , in a stove that is , as it pops and spits like a goodun .
  4. More sand eels ?
  5. Yea , I godda feeling it was already assembled like you say .
  6. Like this one then ?
  7. There was someone on here a while back that ported a " Farmertec " saw . It was all sorta electric blue color and badged as Farmertec . I think it was a copy of a 372XP . Apparently it ran well .
  8. It may well be more than 60psi .If you are not using the correct compression tester for a single cylinder 2t engine it will read low . just a point .
  9. I thought the same about the piston . OEM are usually a matt finish . ( on Husqvarna anyway )
  10. Has the fly wheel key sheared putting it out of time ? You say there is a spark but it might not spark under compression if the plug is duff or the ignition unit has failed .
  11. Iths a mistherwey Mick ...
  12. Its ok if you can judge pulling it gently just over center then giving it a good tug . If you don't do this you can bend the metal pins that engage with the starter pawls .
  13. Mmmm . I have heard that people can break their leg when they fall over .
  14. Thats ok but wouldn't the SDS Milwaukee Fuel ( that I have ) M18 CHD be better . The Hawg has a key chuck where as the SDS Max fitting would not slip . ?

    New saw help

Or use an Alkylate fuel , especially if only using the saw for a few times a year . . No need to drain down then .
  16. Why not try one of the Eucalyptus variants . Great fire wood ( split strait away as it goes off ;like concrete if left ) I think Big J planted some @BigJ

    New saw help

Despite what you say , and at the moment it is seen as " sound reasoning " you will want a better saw than whatever it is you get ! So , get the best pro saw you can afford from your dealer and the rest will follow .......Its in the rules 🙂
  18. Are the hung up tree wind blown or has someone been trying to fell with no idea how to go about it ? Also what Doobs said above . First thinnings ?
  19. Split fuel hose that opens up when the av allows it to ?
  20. We have a separate LR specialist in our village as it happens .
