    Back in the days of yore I do remember the trannie with a a full ( to the point of no more physical room ) load of sopping wet chip and dragging a Jensen A 540 up Burry Hill with the whole lot slowing to a halt in 1st gear .

    Should be to undo in the same direction it usually rotates when running . That way the tendancy is for it to tighten when running .

    On those 3 webs there looks to be 3 threaded holes to " jack " it off once you have removed the center nut/bolt .

    Saw my first woodcock of the year last week . He shot up from the leaf litter in the woods . One of my all time favorite birds .

    I have heard this theory and admittedly quoted it myself on occasion but I don't think The " weak as in less petrol " would cause it . I think its the weak in too much air that causes it to nip up . Too much oil will just soot up the plug and add carbon deposits .

    Its warmed up to -2 at 05:30 this morning from the recent -5 at this time . Can't believe its going to be +12 on Monday !

    Ever tried snow chains ? Had some for my first truck but it never snowed enough to warrant them down here .

    Surely the only way to get the outside on the inside is to turn it round on the rim . If you just swap left for right you still have a worn outside edge of the tier .
