  1. That's what I'm leaning towards tbh just wondering if people have a preference on cut speed alone? Can't imagine it being much of a difference on a 15" bar anyway?
  2. Anyone running both models? Is there a noticeable difference in cutting speed between the 3/8 and 325? looking at running either a 560 or 562 on a 15" bar 90% of the time but the larger mount would be useful the odd occasion for larger stuff, I've also already got bars and chains to fit larger mount.

    Ticking Hilux!

Check one of the injectors haven't come loose, injector seals, d4d engine I've seen the bolts undo under the rocker cover. You might see the plug on top the injector twitching when engine running if really loose.
  4. 390 395 and 3120 I've heard, but as has already been said, would appear there's gonna be no replacement models for some time. Just ordered a 3120 for milling and was told stocks are running low already.
  5. I'll be following this with interest, I'm near Cullompton myself and can think of a few jobs where this kind of machine would be very useful. If you need any help with anything or finding your way around drop me message ??
  6. I'm guessing your doing work for petrol stations,fore-courts refineries etc, i helped on a job few years ago we just wore flame retardant coveralls on top of chainsaw trousers, boots are the difficult bit, we couldn't find anti static chainsaw boots, had to use non-chainsaw boots and wrote it up in risk assessment, was only for one off job though. Not sure on your options if it's going to be regular work.
  7. As Steve has said really, sounds fuel related, these machines always seam to get crap in the fuel tanks,I'd look there first take the pipe off the tank and check the flow. It's also worth inspecting the fuel lines to the engine, after a while they soften up and can collapse and get pinched between other hoses. Then check lift pump gauze and that it's working correctly then filter.
  8. Those lines went right over my head.... (Tumble weed)
  9. New parts are easily available, but not cheap. There's not much second hand stuff about for them like the jcb's,matbro's manitous etc.
  10. Been driving and working on them for about 15 years, brilliant machines.headstock pins and bushes, rear axle pivot bushs and main lift ram lower pin bushs are prone to problems if not greased regularly. Very well built machines really, shame they stopped making them.
  11. Yes they they are Jon,Massey have made some of the best and worst tractors, the 3065 was not one of their best.
  12. Steer clear of the Massey, unless you enjoy mechanics and vehicle electronics, just my opinion.
  13. I'll second that suggestion, Mark assessed my cs38 few years ago, real good bloke. I'm gonna try and book up for my 30-31 in the new year with him.
  14. Check the trailer socket if you have one.
  15. Just assume it's gonna be the same as the day before. Statistically this is more accurate than any forcast.
  16. Ignore what I said 627 is different machine than I was thinking of, track rod ends are about £400 from what I remember,
  17. Injector failure? Had it happen a lot on the earlier iveco common rail engine, get it checked out before you start stripping it to pieces.
  18. Can't find 18" listed anywhere,I've got a spare 20" husqvarna bar off a 372 if your stuck.
  19. You wouldn't get me in the water if it's more than 6ft let alone 20ft lol. I've only ever seen the Cribbar surfed once,it's pretty spectacular.
  20. I havnt surfed for years, and I deffo won't be putting a wet suit on in the next few days. I reckon the Cribbar will be fireing well if the winds hold off a little.
  21. At a guess I'd say it was coming in thorugh the air intake for you cab heater system under the windscreen, possibly caused by the drain holes in the bottom of the intake ducts being blocked.
