  2. They are nice but my lord they are expensive.
  3. Smart. my only worry would be that the biner may rub open while in use, only a very small possibility but a possibility all the same. swap the biner for a mallion and its sorted.
  4. good point, might still be devolping the right muscles!
  5. I used to to get it in my elbows, although it took 6-7 yrs to come out. The system i use now is hand over hand and it seems to have sorted it right out!
  6. you can use a knut just like a prusik, it just locks off better and slides up the rope easier. If you pull the rope from benieth the knut down and out it will even tend......without a pulley!

  12. Pleurotus isnt too agressive, it proberly just feeding off the strips of deadwood. I would only be concerned if the tree is in a really bad way as it is a facultative parasite. Ive only once in my career seen it cause a tree to fail, a fairly large willow.
  13. Its almost like the storyline for a sci-fi film, big, evil, untouchable corporate company operating above the law to produce forrests of killer trees.
  14. Stumbled on this, thought it relevant of this thread MONSANTO PROTECTION ACT
  15. a sunny and fresh morning here in hampstead!
  16. Seconded, Blue tougue or my personal fav Tachyon. Imori is definately not what you want for mechanicals. I recently bought some P.Ivy and while it is nice rope i find it quite twisty and not as easy on the hand as tachyon.
  17. My friend ate a load and it gave him the s**ts.
  18. Tight employer! My visor was great today tho, saved me from a serious whip to the face!
  19. You can get some extra long steins from honey bros for £120 + vat. Good for the price, i have some and there lasting well unlike some of their other gear.
  20. Is the champ on the west heath??
  21. Just found some!! Online!!
  22. Cant find anyone selling Polyporus online, suppose ill have to go on a hunt for a sample and try to grow it myself.
  23. thats good to know. saves me shelling out for a 47! cheers!
  24. I will consider the Polyporus, depends if i can get my hands on any. Pleurotus is readily avaliable and it spreads quickly and easily onto new dowels so i can grow more on the cheap:thumbup1:
