  1. I dont think theres been any trouble with any ART gear. i love my spiderjack!
  2. Get the ropeguide with cocoon, i have a pulley saver and wish i had gone with the other!
  3. you would of thought that petzl would of tested for this in the first place, its a bit obvious that a crab could cross load.

  15. ive seen one withstand a 066 and believe me if was normal rope the guy would have been in real trouble. Steel core was cut through half way but holded.
  16. doing a re-reduction is hell, tree of a million cuts!
  17. There are a few considerations that are species dependant ie silver birch because of it bleeding (im sure some others on here will elaborate on more species). The other consideration is the trees phenology, Shigo states the the two times when the tree is most vulnerable is when the leaves have just formed (period 2) and at the end of period 4, before dormancy.

  20. Just got myself some 11.7mm P.Ivy Calamine. can someone explain to me why its noticably thinner than my 11.5mm tachyon?? I wasnt wanting a rope that thin:confused1:

  22. Mine has been brown before (after 4 days of booze at a festival)and is constantly yellow and smelly.
