  1. dont get me wrong they feel nice, are quieter, less vibration...the issue is power, which it lacks.
  2. just got me a Harkie waterproof smock....its proper bright but seems to do the job very well.
  3. your not being picky......they are just not up to the job!
  4. Wasnt the release of it delayed for a long time??
  5. the guy at the shop was surprised he hasnt seen more posts like this on forums...
  6. It was looked at by the guy we bought them off as it kept on cutting out and even after it was tuned correctly the performance was dire compared to the ms200. My boss was so unhappy with his 201 that he bought a new ms200 and is selling the 201.......so if anyone wants to buy one on the cheap 201...drop me a line
  7. do you have ginger hair??? they seem to like all the gingers ive worked with over the years!!
  8. it was right under our noses...learned my lesson now!
  9. Having used a stihl ms 201 for 3 months i have reverted back to a ms200 and find my job a lot easier!! The ms201 has the same power of an un-professional hobby saw and even with a brand new chain on, it has trouble cutting through 4/5 inch diameter wood!!!! God only knows what it would be like with a 14" bar!!!! anyone else use one???
  10. This saw is absolutly rubbish.......mine got nicked off the back of the truck and im kinda glad in a wierd way...got a new ms200 instead!! The saw has difficulty cutting anything more than 3/4 inch diameter wood (god knows what its like with a 14" bar!!) and as a result ive had accidents when ive put a gob cut into a branch and it hasnt been able to cut through the back cut enough by the time the branch starts to go over, resulting in the hinge being too big and the piece im cutting off holds on for too long, not popping off and squashing what i was trying to avoid. AND the guy at the place where we bought them says one in two 201's that are sold are being brought back with problems.... as mine did. SO BUY ANOTHER MS200 WHILE THEY ARE STILL IN STOCK AS THEY HAVE STOPPED MAKING THEM!!!
