  1. Petzl advise in thier info release from april, that people who own a zillion should keep their eyes on it as it may happen to it too!!
  2. Wasnt mine it was Kevs...fatty! Ive abused mine and its still sweet! but to tell the truth its just a robot hitch climber, the only advantage the ZZ has over the HC is the no sit back...my HC even tends better than the ZZ and decending on it is no way as fun or smooth as the SJ. If i had to give it back i wouldnt miss it!!

  9. I think they are a bit overpriced for what they are tbh. you can get summat similar for a lot less money. I have yet to see the lads at work that have them use the thimble...seems to get caught up more than used. Id rather have a positioner. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. Ive found the best crabs are the ones with a flat top like the one marcus suggests...personally I use an isc mini as its small and keeps the sj low. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. I have both, but if I had to choose one it would be the SJ it just tends better. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. I got a weaver cube to complement my ageing falteimer...cheaper than the stein and holding out well!!! Stein throw bags are good value and hard wearing tho!!!

  15. Can anyone tell me if the RW is CE marked???
  16. caritool here too........its annoying on a treemotion tho as it keeps poppin off where its supposed to live, was far more secure on my dragonfly.

  18. Its not the wear you want to worry about its how it will perform. The thinner the rope the better it will perform...the best rope for it is velocity if you can deal with the diameter (11mm) but for a good median id recommend new england tachyon as its nice to grip and is fairly stiff (unlike the yale alternatives)so will fall through the device well. dont forget to use friction management (cambium saver/ropeguide) to get the best results.

    Zig Zag

I have had the occasion when on a swing the side of the links have come into contact with a branch...pretty sure thats how that crack came into being as there is little give on that axis....a weak point to be mindful of maybe??

    Marlow rope

im not a fan of any marlow rope.......sorry, there is a lot better stuff out there, but hey if your on a budget go for it!!
  23. I have both and they both have different qualities. I find I ude the ZZ more on smaller/messier trees as its more compact. The Sj wins in big canopies as I find it offers a lot better fluidity of movement and the self tending is way better. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Arbtalk mobile app
