  3. In theory yes but not in practicality, metal wears and becomes fatigued and chippers do get beyond economical repair, especially if your not handy with repairing them yourself.

  7. No if the chain breaks, it doesn't activate the chain brake, you just have to hope the chain catcher stops it from whipping round.
  8. Acer's are the same, bleed heavily in the spring.

  10. How long does this stuff normally take to arrive? Does it come from the US or is there a UK depot? I ordered a couple of pairs of trousers on the 21st and been rushing home hoping they arrived ever since. Maybe a bit impatient but postage is usually pretty quick with everything else.

  14. As you have already got some experience I would say this is a good place to start if you want to build your knowledge of arboriculture.
  15. not very environmentally friendly but carrier bags work very well when there is nothing else about.
  16. I have watched this thread with interest as I know two people who have had similar problems with their canters. Both ended up costing over well £1000 to sort out. All the things mentioned in this thread were checked or changed and also something else that not been mentioned is a fuel delivery chip in the ecu that needed updating. Just something else to consider. hope you get it sorted. problems like this can be a nightmare to sort out.

  21. looks like a giant redwood..... that's been in a blast freezer. I've tried to enlarge it to get a better view with no success. its encased in ice for sure
