  1. Mmm... I'm don't know off the top of my head what the 261 high revs should be. But I would make sure that it's not got an air leak which would also make it rev high, you say you have done a pressure test but a vacuum test would also be good to do for peace of mind.
  2. buty theres 4 seeds? i give up its makin me ill.
  3. the more i look at it i think its elaegnus.
  4. Another that is nearly there but not quite right is Halesia monticola vestita this is a toughy for sure. got the bark, leaves and fruit its just difficult getting them on the same tree.

  7. They bring back memories! I think they were my first pair of chainsaw boots.
  8. And be prepared to replace some brake pipes if they are badly corroded.
  9. My advice would be, When fitting any new leaf springs always have all new fittings and bushes. Cut the old ones off if they become difficult to undo, it saves a lot of struggling. I have just change both springs on a navara and it was fairly easy on my own but would have been easier with another pair of hands.
  10. Yes I suggest your dividing wall should be about 4 bricks thick
  11. My thoughts also
  12. I like to think most people would be suspicious of such dodgy payment demands but unfortunately I know a couple of lads who are just decent genuine people who have been too trusting and paid the price. The last one transferred 2.5 K to a bloke from Scotland for a grinder he never got to see. Be suspicous of everything, never give money before you have got the item, don't feel afraid to ask awkward questions, any doubts give it a miss. Money is too hard earned to lose to these scum.
  13. Try a product called icade. Obviously need to read up on it to make sure it suitable for your area, but I have been told it's good stuff.
  14. Spot on electrickery is not to be messed with.
  15. Not sure this is correct? I don't think I would be here otherwise.
  16. What's up with yer man? Get it done, what's the worst that can happen? This clip of marv in home alone never fails to make me LOL [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c-yAi98Gyqg[/ame]
  17. Carb will need removing, strip down and clean for a start.
  18. Jonny, what condition was the wood in at buttress level? Are you grinding the roots out? Just interested if you found the decay you anticipated. M
  19. I wouldn't bother trying to repair it, it will need replacing. If there isn't anyone in the house I wouldn't worry.
  20. Tell the house owner to contact bt from there mobile phone and tell them that they need the line repairing which has mysteriously fallen down.
  21. I bet all this hasn't gone down well with Mike Ellison.
  22. Initially It seems a near impossible task. I don't think it is possible to come up with a totally new concept as the fundamentals are the same. The important bit is understanding what elements need to be considered when assessing the risk from trees and looking at how risks are assessed in other industries as well as in arboriculture and trying to come up with something a bit different.
  23. Level 6 prof dip
  24. Being a stihl man, I would get a husky 560xp. I know all saws have a few niggles here and there but the ms261 takes the biscuit.
  25. Will there be an arbtalk stall?
