  1. It's is pretty essential to have a impact gun so you can make the pit stop noises when you first get it
  2. I have a 50l tank one from sgs. Great for saws. Not really ok for clackclackclack guns and other beefier tools. But was 180 quid and you can use them but just have to wait for tank to fill up from time to time if you want full torque. Same with the dremel type attachment
  3. Well best if luck. Reckon stand yer ground and they probably sort you out.
  4. Jeez.....i kind of know what you mean....but I bought a 357 about 10 years ago off a tree surgeon who hammered it. It's still rocking Which ones you seen people mincing about with?
  5. My three are pretty fussy at eating their greens anyways
  6. Steady on, you'll be saying they're islamists next
  7. When you are more used to maintenance/ working on one brand working on others seems like a pita. I do more work on and own more stihls so huskys always seem like irritating fiddly little basyards. But I run both and always enjoy the way huskys perform. Tbh I reckon most brands are pretty good if they're in fine fettle. With the odd duff model thrown In to keep you on yer toes
  8. Hopefully I could do some work for you at some point then. Sounds like a right giggle.... I do lots of jobs for mysel and get subbed in a bit so need insurance either way. but always wondered whose insurance it would be on.
  9. Probably cos of immigrants...
  10. Weird, I always assumed when I'm getting subbied in for other firms if I smash something it's on my insurance....does that meab subbies should be checking employers for correct insurance?
  11. My personal favourite;
  12. You saying subbies don't need insurance?
  13. Do you get to keep the old one too?
  14. horrible. but a good reminder i suppose
  15. Some post the non faceache link to that first ouch vid will yer? Ta
  16. Yeah just watched again. It's pretty hardcore. When you see how rusty that main stem is and then see him on the little side branch. Jebus!
  17. Sweet sweet irony. That illustrates a previously unseen sense of humour fella
  18. After a starter recoil reel and expect I'll need some other bits. Can't find them online ( only place that has them is sold out) http:// https://www.japgmowers.co.uk/starter-pulley-rope-rotor-reel-husqvarna-163s-185cd-260cd-263cd-285cd-chainsaw-501-40-24-02-501-40-24-01-18775-p.asp
  19. Made a giant howling wolf sculpture then burnt it in village square for allen valleys folk festival. Made with a couple of pals over 2 days. Jaw was articulated and controlled by a bit wire rope. Had some flue up throat with some fuely hay in for a fire breathing effect. Was a good day yesterday! Lots of Morris Dancing while we built it and a class band called pons aelius played a romping set as it burned.
  20. Yeah all the time. So quick and easy and saves climbing to rigging points as well as you can just lob the rope to whatever crotch you want to use. Very handy on reductions where you're moving around and in and out of branches a lot also.
  21. Exciting stuff. Will keep a keen eye on this
  22. Was it a decent cylinder and piston fitted? My money is on a crappy cylinder and piston which looses compression when warm or hot
  23. Did you change the chain at same time? Either the bar and chain combo is wrong with your sprocket or the bar is
  24. Obv c. For climbing with. Spikes tent to chafe slightly though
  25. Shorts We call them.
