  1. Better get a mod to remove it from the overloaded thread then
  2. Don't know what it weighed but don't reckon it was anywhere near 2 ton! 26'' x 8' 6'' larch felled 3 years ago, anyone care to guess?
  3. I was very surprised how well it handled it tbh. Was imagine it would be like a wollowing boat. But drove bit like it does with the chipper on. Took it steady like
  4. Been binge watching preacher lately. Pretty interesting take on religion there
  5. Watch it bolam, your name will go on ze list
  6. Nice translation [emoji846] https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=https://www.ingenieur.de/technik/fachbereiche/antriebstechnik/neue-konzepte-kleinen-stinkern-saubermaenner/&prev=search Who knows? Still waiting for their new topper to come out also https://goo.gl/images/oqkABz
  7. What the cuss you lot on about?
  8. The 346 I rebuilt with the snapped cylinder bolt. Just snapped another. Anyone experience this? I am hoping it's just that the cylinder has come loose, rattled about and someone has cranked them right up, causing them the snap. Have bought 4 new bolts, so they should be good. Just wondering if anything else could have caused this?
  9. Unsurprising you were correct. Sticky/bend metering arm. Changed it for another one I had, adjusted height. Working well now.
  10. Looks bad, don't reckon it was as heavy as it looks. Had just shy of 2'' off the bump stops.
  11. I like to think so
  12. How does the flywheel look? Is it somehow mashed where it connects with the starter pawls?
  13. I like calling them toppers.
  14. 360 is great so far......saying that since i got a 2511 no other toppers are getting a look in 360 doesn't scream like 200 does but seems to cut well and has been reliable. On a big dismantle I'll probably pick up the 200, but would also be quite happy with the 360 if it's all i had....if I lost them both and had to replace the 360 would probably get bought as I got it for alot less new than a new 201
  15. I may be incorrect but does it fall under the " competent person" thing like use of chai saw etc. Qual not essential, but the easiest way of prooving competence. Few hours and a few videos of best mewp fails ever 2018 with a trainer makes you competent to dismantle a tree from a mewp. Hmmmm?
  16. I did my ipaf. Felt like a box ticking exercise tbh. Aimed mostly at construction. Didn't learn much, did the test on a miniscule scissor genie lift. Possibly required for you Insurance or whoever is subbing you in (councils etc). Educationally not up to much ( the one I did anyways), didn't relate to arb work at all.
  17. Don't know what ecobirn standards are but the rereleased it with clean burn technology it's called an f602cb. Do shout if you want to sell your old 602. After one just now. Ta
  18. Did you not get On with the 602? They do a clean burn version. Selling the 602 by chance?
  19. On a compromised rope I was taught to just use a prussoc loop to clip the injured onto my bridge and let them dangle off that once disconnected from their line. Don't climb srt so not familiar with whether that would work joe?
  20. Learn to do a Blake's hitch, prussoc, figure of 8 knot and bowline knot. It shoyld be geared towards beginner so the pace shouldn't be to crazy! I take it you don't already have any climbing kit?
  21. Thanks for sharing. Looks good. X rings at top?
  22. Aye, just keep at it. You'll stop thinking about it after a bit
  23. Cheers spud
  24. Do you mean comfortable like saw hips/crushed bollocks or comfortable find it all alarming?
  25. Am I right in think on the left side of that pic, on the spar was another eye and rope to groundie/bubbleman?
