  1. Fair enough, ya racist ol' honky.
  2. Did you not get away with it because of your age?
  3. Surely you accept that risk when you buy second hand. If your livelihood depends on it buy a decent saw, new, and look after it. If that saw then suffers catastrophic failure I'd be looking at how you're using it.
  4. He's a risky kind of dude. Even when he's got his main line in, it's SRT, which is just asking for trouble
  5. With blunt chains on too big bars no less
  6. I haven't, unless awkward footlocking counts. Wouldn't mind having a play at SRT though, not in a competitive environment.
  7. "An entire new rebuilt kit" So some rings and friction cord? Fair play to the bloke for his ingenuity, but as a production item, it seems to have very few advantages over items already on the market. The belt for the waistband is not adjustable in small increments. The leg loops don't look to be easily opened if you prefer your leg loops snug. And retying knots for adjustment would be a pain. There is also case that some less competent person might adjust their saddle and use an unsuitable knot. Most tree workers I know only really use a prussik and running bowline for knots.
  8. You won't be the only one there who's new to comps mate I'll probably make you look a pro! It isn't solely aimed at SRT is it?
  9. Not Bob Crick? He's trained me before and is fantastic. The guy I heard of was based in Dunchurch I think, and ran courses specific to arb.
  10. Hi there, hoping someone can help. I read here a while ago about a decent FA training provider in Rugby, possibly Dunchurch. Can't find it with the search function. I'm hoping to get some info on a more involved course than the 1 day one. Cheers, Joe
  11. So now I know who it is that's been snitching on the folk that send me porn links? Watch your backs lads. The increase in sexual frustration may manifest itself elsewhere...
  12. Ha! Get in! Just got mine! See you in Vegas, suckers!
  13. Can't be that Stubby, never used the stuff!
  14. I use Redline Racing oil. Don't know why, but a couple of the bigger boys on here say it's good, and being an impressionable young whelp I believe them. I like the smell too. Stihl mineral oil is no longer sufficient for the highly tuned engines. I can believe it still seems to be the standard.
  15. Do you know why that is? I've just ran in a 550 with 4 litres of the stuff!
  16. Sod off Bolam, Haven't you got nappies to change?
  17. There was a guy on here recently asking about the best was to get rid of a load of stumps. Possibly Mark Lewis, but I could be wrong...
  18. Hi dan, I've looked for the entry forms and can only find a photo of one on FB. Is there a download I can fill out? I'm technologically challenged.
  19. And assuming that the tail of your rope is routed directly beneath you, which isn't often in a decent size hardwood
