  1. Hi there, hoping someone can help. I read here a while ago about a decent FA training provider in Rugby, possibly Dunchurch. Can't find it with the search function. I'm hoping to get some info on a more involved course than the 1 day one. Cheers, Joe
  2. So now I know who it is that's been snitching on the folk that send me porn links? Watch your backs lads. The increase in sexual frustration may manifest itself elsewhere...
  3. Ha! Get in! Just got mine! See you in Vegas, suckers!
  4. Can't be that Stubby, never used the stuff!
  5. I use Redline Racing oil. Don't know why, but a couple of the bigger boys on here say it's good, and being an impressionable young whelp I believe them. I like the smell too. Stihl mineral oil is no longer sufficient for the highly tuned engines. I can believe it still seems to be the standard.
  6. Do you know why that is? I've just ran in a 550 with 4 litres of the stuff!
  7. Sod off Bolam, Haven't you got nappies to change?
  8. There was a guy on here recently asking about the best was to get rid of a load of stumps. Possibly Mark Lewis, but I could be wrong...
  9. Hi dan, I've looked for the entry forms and can only find a photo of one on FB. Is there a download I can fill out? I'm technologically challenged.
  10. And assuming that the tail of your rope is routed directly beneath you, which isn't often in a decent size hardwood
  11. Even Monday in the rain? I thought there's no way you boys will be out!
  12. You used it without a Mewp yet?
  13. Aah I read about that. Sorry to hear. Bait away...
  14. I'm only taking a guess based on a couple of photos. It might be different in the flesh. I don't want to come across as one of those internet arbs that would climb any tree in a lightning storm with a hard on.
  15. My bad, I didn't mean to quote you in particular. Force of habit I guess. Like I said, I haven't seen it, and if I did go up, I'd be sweating, a lot. Still, beats trimming 18' conny hedges over borders.
  16. When you think about the amount of force a small breeze would exert on the junction, my 10 stone would be irrelevant. I'm not saying I would or wouldn't go up that, without seeing it, but with the recent winds, and the lean on that stem, there must be something strong holding it.
  17. Hahaha you're a gracious kind of chap TCD!
  18. Funny you should mention skinny rope. My 11mm velocity was a dream on the SJ, but horrible on the ZZ, which is designed for 11.7mm. I've no doubt that they're both excellent devices, and their popularity speaks volumes, but for the money they aren't any better than my hitchclimber!
