  1. They still bloody teach that apparently!
  2. You clearly do. Let's leave family out of it, tough guy.
  3. I know bud, I love my saws and I can feel and listen to them. Problem is, whilst i'm a competent operator, it's physically painful to hear some other div bogging a saw down and still holding onto the throttle!
  4. Sure. Plenty of people are happy with 18" on their 560s. I know you run that with an 8pin mate. Thing is, huskys seem to be lower on torque and have higher to end revs. IME this can mean faster cutting, but only with an experienced and sympathetic operator. Your 560 must require a light touch to prevent bogging. I use a 361 on a 20" too. Whilst not a ripper it's more user friendly for sure.
  5. I find in the majority of cases, poor grammar and spelling is a result of laziness, not poor education. There are exceptions, of course, but we are all taught a reasonable degree of English as part of our "Prussian education". Just because a person is in the manual sector it does not mean that a degree of intelligence is not beneficial. Feel free to ask for help if any of those words are too long for you.
  6. I'd like to get a chance to try one. Tbh I thing 20" is asking a bit much of any 60cc saw. I run a ported 357 on 15" 8pin, so I obviously favour speed.
  7. I think I know what he might say...
  8. They're warmer. Hygiene goes out the window when you wear them 6 days in a row.
  9. Tell her they're machine washable at 30• That should perk her ears
  10. I don't know Jon, I've never worn your socks!
  11. The other month I bought 2 pairs of smartwool socks at £20 a pair, and 2 pairs of Woolpower Summit socks at £15 a pair. That's £70 on socks. Worth it though. The Smartwool ones are better.
  12. Yup, your prune would be the first stage of the dismantle, albeit with immaculate cuts. Let's face it. Any TO who granted permission for a fell would be happy to give it a chance first unless the tree is shagged.
  13. As I understand it the permission is good for 2 years. A prune wouldn't be a problem as technically you're only part way through the granted dismantle.
  14. Funny how the price goes up when the tree is already on the deck!
  15. Jokes aside, I'm gonna make an order. The Mrs has been stressed lately and I'm prepared to farm it out to someone else.
  16. It's great that you post so many photos Darrin, but Al did already cover that
  17. Service with a smile
  18. Just the smug grin alone should have done it Mark
  19. Bend them back. Just don't do it with a hammer while your foot is still in there like I've seen!
  20. You laughing at me? It's cold here FFS!
  21. :sneaky:
  22. "Darling" works too. At least, they drag away from you faster. Ain't so quick coming back mind.
  23. So what would you call someone you pay to drag brash from point a to point b?
