  1. I'll bet the Cannon bars look like they were made for it!
  2. Tbh Rob the price of chains doesn't sound extortionate, and if their bars are anything to go by will be great quality. I'd definitely buy a couple of the 8" if they became available
  3. Shame about the chains. Very shortsighted of Sugi IMO. Out of interest how much would they cost? Would be nice to see an 8" option as well.
  4. Really? I remember it being 11mm when I did mine. Was a fair while ago mind.
  5. If that were true it would have stopped cutting long before that point!
  6. Pretty sure the minimum industry standard for Arb mainline is 11mm.
  7. Good job you had four wedges for that tree!
  8. So you've no industry experience of tree work or felling. Thought so.
  9. I don't understand what you're getting at Mull. On one hand you're needling Ian saying if you can learn from it you're a moron, and on the other hand you're challenging me to the contrary. You never answered Ian's question about what it is you do either. I'd guess you're just a bored keyboard warrior with a bit of time on your hands though.
  10. Well I'd imagine you can't be too big in your game, you'd have to be brave (or at least not squeamish), and if you're hard, well, I'd keep that to yourself...
  11. So now there can be something to be learned?
  12. When I need a retrievable craning point I use a fork...
  13. The joys of selling timber Al! Is it's not too expensive, it's too big, small, the wrong colour, or possibly not Halal...
  14. You didn't answer any of my questions Stefan. I'm not being negative, but while I enjoy my work it's not the only thing I live for
  15. It's not terrible money for a mere half a days work Stefan...
  16. A not so wise man once said "£50 a day plus beer money"
  17. Well said. Although I've only had two fells from memory cock up resulting in damage. One was sub 15".
  18. I thought he was toast in the penultimate episode. That would have been it for me. I'm changing my last name to "Giantsbane" also.
