  1. I was lucky enough to have the 2 Lancasters, Spitfire and Hurricane fly over my garden this year on their way to the clacton airshow, a sound and sight I will not forget. Spitfires are without doubt the most beautiful machine and Merlin's are the sweetest sound ever. I have huge admiration for the pilots and crew that flew them.
  2. NFU were the cheapest for me
  3. Tell them to pay what was agreed or return them.
  4. I was too busy watching paint dry.
  5. Looks like a man who knows how to drive a machine properly. That is a seriously nice piece of kit Eddie and a very nice tidy job.
  6. I have to agree with that. It has no advantage what so ever imo, you only need a mate with a ticket.
  7. Looks like the saw is going to be busy, nice one .
  8. I would have thought getting a consistant moisture content would be a problem.
  9. Someone I know who fits cranes does extra services for rotator and grab, depending on how many extensions the crane has it can get quite involved and expensive all that pipe has to go somewhere out of the way when the boom is in, that's without adding in what it will need valve block wise. If it was me I would be looking for one with it already fitted as it generally doesn't add a huge amount to the s/h crane price, and will look a lot neater as a factory fit.
  10. I must be a Jonah then One of our new Ford's spent nearly 6 weeks of it's first six months in the dealers workshop A new Hilux ate a transfer box in the first week And I know it's not work related but my new Triumph has been at the dealers longer than it's been in my workshop with what I have since found out is an inherent problem. I have had other new kit that has been bad quality and needed going back to the manufacturers for repair or replacement. So yes thinking about it perhaps I am a Jonah
  11. Funny to see how peoples opinions differ. Personally I would rather do with what I have than borrow, newer doesn't mean better, and no one can guarantee work may be good for the next 2 or 3 years, what if things go slack ?
  12. If it's still like it was then it's huge, they have several auctions running at the same time, and it's a long day. Good place if you like to see some pretty smart looking low loaders though
  13. I went a few times many years ago. Far too big an auction with far too many people for my liking.
  14. Google check for fraud clicks using several methods, not just IP address, if several clicks are done from the same IP within a short space of time it will count as one click, after a few hours it will count as two. I think their fraud detection has got better over the last few years. Do your homework on detecting fraudulent clicks yourself before using adwords would be my advice. Click fraud can be very costly.
  15. That is a very nice tidy unit, would like to have had the sides on mine but needed to cut as much weight as possible, so just kept the tailgate for advertising space.
  16. Officially 1000kg at 3.2mtrs but it can go way over than that before it's safety relief kicks in. Full out is supposed to be 520kg at 6.2mtrs but again it can do more without trouble. I would be completely lost without it now.
  17. One of the caravans I bought came with one, i'm sure it was a shifta . I tried it just to see what it was like and was impressed, 750kg of a chipper I doubt would be an issue, the van we used it on was just under 2000kg a twin axle and managed it without too much trouble, including some pretty sharp turns on a loose surface, but painfully slow. I'm sure there is a thread on here a while back about caravan movers on chippers.
  18. Haha I just realised they have got the same initials I meant Ben not Brian Looks like it is yard at Capel
  19. Thanks for the advice. I have more than enough uses for what I will cut around the yard and farm. I had thought about an alaskan but from what I have seen they look like hard work, I assume hence the winch ?
  20. Just a warning for anyone that was a Cardsave Streamline customer. When you recieve the new contract with Worldpay there are a couple of changes you might want to consider. The 12 month rolling contract is being increased to 18 month and there is a collection fee of the terminal of £125 + VAT even if you are coming out of contract, there may be other bits but that is enough for me to move. You have 60 days to cancel your existing contract with them without penalty if you don't agree to the new terms. I have just had another chat with Sagepay and am going to move to them.
  21. It is indeed. They are quite helpful.
