  1. I run bearmach +2" heavy duty on the rear with assisters with boge shocks, it's not really the ideal setup as it's as hard as heck but takes the weight well, when I get a chance I will fit some proper air assisters (tried the crappy britpart ones) and put the original landy springs back in. Only reason I have done it that way is there is a slight body clearance issue when it was fully loaded on standard springs. Can I ask why you had to strengthen the chassis, both versions are on the same chassis.

  4. I haven't yet Jon, but I phoned Bearmach to see about getting a part the winch I looked at needed and they were no use so I won't bother with the Tmax I think it will probably be a superwinch Talon and a WS engineering bumper.
  5. £19k for a truck you don't like the performance of. Is a good price though for a Hilux

  8. Thanks for your opinions I currently have my eyes on a s/h warn aswell, I am not really interested in a PTO winch, but the tmax comes with a pretty substantial tubular new winch bumper.
  9. I have been offered what seams like a pretty good deal on a Tmax EW9000 winch and a search on here only pulls up one mention of them. Looking through google it appears they are a bit like marmite. I just wondered if anyone on here had any experience of them, and if so what was your opinion of them ?
  10. Really, you paid that price for a website that isn't even responsive, which is pretty much basic stuff for a modern website. Yet their own site is.
  11. anyone brave enough to do a fibreglass landy shell and mount it on a new galv chassis will do well

  19. It was going to be used as the drive unit for a power rake, in the end I went with a 740 BCS 2 wheel unit. It did seam like a lot of money for what it is, especially when compared to an Avant
  20. My only experience was when I was looking to buy one or boxer or a vermeer, they were very efficient and helpful unlike Boxer who never did return a call.
  21. Nope I have always been a pessimist, that way things can only get better
