  1. cheaper for a britpart one from the link I put up.
  2. The originals aren't that expensive filler I used one of those and just made a bracket up off the steel part of the mud guard Will get a pic tomorrow
  3. I wouldn't recommend that, word will soon get around you are an easy touch and then all the unscrupulous buggers will be wanting to employ you. I would start by a visit to his house, most people pay face to face. That said it would be good to know the reason why he doesn't want to pay you.
  4. generally known by many as sh$tpart I refuse to take them from our local indie landy parts place, they must survive on people not being bothered to return stuff under warranty.
  5. I don't think it's even £100 plus tyres this year Although I did spend nearly £1500 on the turbo and intercooler but they weren't essential
  6. Nowt wrong with those, I would start by speaking to the dealer principal, then go to Ford. Sadly it's not just car dealers, I am rapidly loosing faith in human kind. My dad has just had gas central heating fitted after years of coal and the standard of workmanship is to put it plain crap. I trust no one now except the few people I have dealt with for years
  7. the 300tdi's are now going for silly money. I have a M reg hicap I may be selling soon, but it's a bit tatty, incredibly good work horse though, just can't make up my mind, it only does a few miles a year now but is handy when it's needed. Things to look out for is rust on chassis especially the rear cross member, outriggers and on the bottom under the cab, rust in bulkhead footwells and around the bottom corners of the screen, door bottoms and underneath of the seat trays.
  8. I considered a properly trained guard dog after our last incident, but if your dog decides to have some one and it's properly trained as a guard dog you will most likely see yourself in a load off trouble and liable to being taken to court for damages, if it's the family pet you won't have too much trouble. Like I said the laws to protect yourself need to be changed.
  9. We have nowhere to house them, so you better have a good prison building plan. The reason sentence time actually served is now a quarter to a fifth of what is passed down is because we simply don't have the prison space. Chopping their hands off seems to be a very effective deterrent elsewhere, but of coarse it will be against their human rights here I find the fact that you can be prosecuted for harming someone trying to get into your property if they get hurt on your security measures just weird. Laws need changing to stop protecting the scumbags.
  10. I have Boge on my 130, standard anti roll bar with terrafirma 2"+ HD rear springs with assister springs inside on the rear, HD springs on the front with Boge shocks
  11. There was a little bit more to that case than him shooting a burglar.
  12. The last couple of visits I had which thankfully were a long time ago were under sedation I wouldn't do it any other way now, dentists terrify me.
  13. Dunno it's been so long since I have been. So it must work
  14. Bentonite clay mixed with water as a mouthwash and rinse every 30 mins. If there is a hole in the tooth mix bentonite with water into a thick paste and put into the hole. Problem sorted
  15. So out of interest what would be your solution ? and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. For sure the police wouldn't have sat there for hours, however I do agree that things could now escalate.
  16. Sadly they sleep very well because they have no principles. Scum bags
  17. Sadly the actual time served with good behavior will likely be a quarter or a fifth of the actual sentence
  18. Does the newer one turn over by hand ?
  19. Had mine alight all night, have done the last few nights.
  20. Too many aggressive posts/posters just waiting to jump down others throats imo, I sometimes write a reply to a thread and then think bah it will probably get someones back up, which seems pretty easy to do now days, so delete it because I can't be bothered to get into a squabble on the net.
  21. Don't really see what the problem is, good luck to them if they get someone to take them.
  22. I had an overdraft facility years ago just in case I needed it but realised the bank were making a nice few pennies from me for something I was pre approved for and could ask and pay for if needed. I haven't known for years who my business manager is. Barclays can't even be bothered to tell me when they change them anymore. Crap service and the only reason I stay with them is my Barclays Premier manager sorts anything to do with the business, and goes out of his way to sort out any issues we have, we have known and dealt with him for over 15 years, if I lose him I will just move to a more convenient bank as they really are rubbish in all aspects. I have been told one of the reasons business managers get changed so much is because they fail to meet the very hard targets that the bank wants them to achieve, another is that you are graded, and the quality of manager you get is determined how much the bank makes from you, if they don't earn from you via debt then you get not such a hands on manager. Personally all my business managers over the 35 years I have been trading have been knob heads except one, he was the only one who actually took the time to understand how we work.
  23. Bad luck. I assume it's been reported to the police ? hopefully he will get locked up for a lot longer next time
