  1. Why are you posting this tragic story in the islam bashing thread?
  2. You got that right.
  3. I don't think many people think your smart.
  4. So dont be surprised when the guy your paying £80 a day does one.
  5. Id rather do one day a week at £500 than 5 at £100.
  6. Buy the dewalt gasless nailer. Its awesome and requires very little maintenance.
  7. Stranger things have happened.
  8. Im definitely letting the Sunday sport influence how i vote next month.
  9. Because the government (hmrc, ni etc) earn a lot less out of your average self employed person.
  10. Cool bench. Good job.
  11. Homemade lemonade is the best.
  12. There are ways in which you can do it green. Fine glue joints arent going to work. Chunky tenons from the headboard and foot board into the legs, draw bored and pegged should be ok. Similar with the rails. This will however make it hard to take apart. I suggest you use something seasoned for the slats. All in all its not ideal to use green timber so you should expect some movement and cracking as it dries. If you have 4" legs then i would use 1.5" tennons which i would draw bore 1.5 to 2mm. Make sure your joints are really tight and expect it to be a creaky bed once dried.
  13. If youb want to clean the carb properly you have to take all the screws out.
  14. Agree with Mark. This is bad advise. Physio was terrible for my knee pre op. Every ti.e i bent it i thought it would never straighten again.
  15. That's border line illegal. I was earning £65 as a labourer 19 years ago.
  16. I agree but the op is complaining he cant find good staff. Lets assume this guy us a good worker, which we dont know as he hasnt been given a trial,he won't join the team as the wages are low. I start labourers on £80 a day. Dont think people should earn less than this for manual work if there willing to try.
  17. Surely 7 years experience in a job earns you more than £10?
  18. Anyone interested in some work in deddington mill near banbury converting a fallen tree into firewood. If so give me some details and i will forward to the customer. James
  19. Cant be the same for everyone . I had the operation a few years ago and walked out of the hospital later in the day. Never needed crutches or a stick, i was back a work less than 2 weeks later on light duties and in reality feeling better than before the op. My advice would be to get it done as soon as you can. My knee locked up at work in an awkward position before the op and it could of been very dangerous in a different situation. As it was i was in a loft and just about managed not to fall through the ceiling. Wouldn't of wanted to be in a tree with a chainsaw when that happened.
  20. Hi. Im after some cedar logs to make up an order. If any one can help please let me know. Cheers James
  21. Lovely board and a very well made router sled.
  22. Only got one of the two t shirts on. Did wear both hats though. There is also a mouse mat and a bandit calendar.

  24. My Global recycling merchandise pack arrived today. Thought id model some of it for you all.
