  1. I'm surprised. Yes there might be a bit of metal in there but I'd pay her 200 for the lot if they were near me and assuming it was a straight fell. Easy enough to find metal and dig it out in a tree that size. Easy enough to metal detect them where they are too.
  2. Her asking price is £300 for the standing trunks and the logs. Get the feeling she wants them gone though so sure a sensible offer would be accepted. She was under the impression that the tree roots are valuable and there is enough leverage in there to get the buyer to remove roots too but have told her that is not the case.
  3. Will ask her for asking price.
  4. Got her to send me some more photos for clarity. Definitely yew, Anyone interested?
  5. Only seen this photo. Owner tells me there yew and I'm sure they had a tree surgeon work on them so you think they would know. We will find out if someone wants them.
  6. Someone asked me if i wanted these yew but there too far for me. 1 has 1.3m circumfrence and the other 2 are 1m circumfrence. Not sure what she wants for them but get in touch if you want her contact details.
  7. Arbwork definitely has an lt40. Good chap too.
  8. Got some with one waney edge. Or one short piece with two. Probably about 1m. Will look when I get home.
  9. How many lengths so you need?
  10. What size chestnut are you starting with for the rails? Nice job.
  11. Do you mean rfw ( remote free wheeling). There is some vacuum switches under the bonnet. Thus was the reason my rfw light was always on.
  12. Got 6x2 and 8x2. Nice and dry and around 3m.
  13. Only one loop left. Pm if you want it.
  14. Thanks. Let me know when you sort it. I will have some work for you.
  15. Yeah I know it is really but need it dry. We have made plans around it now so will just wait.
  16. Bump. Still a couple of loops available.
  17. Morning all. I have a double pallet of oak/brown oak. Milled to 150mm x 30mm x 2.5m around 12 weeks ago. Anyhow I could really do with it being killed as I milled it a bit late. Is there a kiln anywhere near me that I don't know about. Anywhere near milton keynes or Aylesbury please let me know if you can help or know someone who can. Thanks James
  18. Try Nick Cope Haulage
  19. See my last post. If no one takes this off you I will come collect the first length of 2.4m or so. Pm me if no one takes it all.
  20. I'm quite up for a 4ft + bit of beech. Got a project in mind for it. Problem is one couldn't collect a 8 tonne load like the op's log. And this project wouldn't warrant a paying for a lorry. Amy how would happily pay 100 a tonne for a 4ft by 2.4m ish clean length. Could collect on my trailer then.
  21. D you have any interest in. Keeping any of the milled timber?
  22. What's the dimensions please?
  23. Loops are now in and ready for posting £130 each of any one wants. Ollie I've tried to pm you but I can't for some reason. Give me a shout if your still after a loop.
  24. This doesn't count. There's only 25 letters in the Christmas alphabet. Noel remember.
