  7. Second on the minirigs. Excellent battery life and awesome sound. 2 speakers and a sub is a great little rig. You can connect as many as you like. My mates have some too so we regularly connect a load together. Designed and manufactured in the uk to so that sells it for me.
  8. Colour of the wood suggests laburnum but hard to see much else with the ivy and rubbish photo quality

  13. Yes. Its an unwritten rule that the major parties dont oppose the speaker. Unfortunately berk cow is my mp so i havent had a vote for a few elections now and i think its ridiculous. I can either vote tory, the most useless green mp you can imagine or an independent. At least you lot get a vote! Not a lot of choice but a vote all the same!

  15. Good post. Well said. I know i wouldn't be capable of doing the things you had to do for the reasons you had to do it though. We are a million miles away now from the justification of ww2. We seem to think conflict is the go to solution to problems that aren't ours.
  16. Here you go again getting personal. You obviously feel all the wars you fought were justifiable. I dont. I know what the army does and as ive stated it can be useful. But that still doesnt justify for me all thecwrong they do. For the record my father worked for the army for most of his working life.
  17. I think the army is capable of doing some solid work, but I dont agree with alot of the stuff they do do. Obviously historically there has been a huge need for war but i dont see a time when that kind of warfare is necessary, i also don't think its right to be swanning round the globe and getting involved in every little problem there is at the will of some protected politician, I also think that people recruited by the forces now cant be under too much illusion about the kind of tour there likely to get sent on, and to be fair there unlikely to be killed in a fight that i find justifiable. Having said that i woukd keep the forces for defence and as a deterrent.i just wouldnt send them off to blow up poor people with out justification.
  18. Please see my last post and lastly please dont mis quote me. If you want to quote what i have said then hit the quote button and quote me in context.
  19. Im going to bed. I may join this discussion again when the quality of discussion increases.thus would mean that you were less involved. Your a nasty nasty racist troll who is unable to have a conversation with someone he disagrees with without resorting to personal slurs and i will no longer have anything to do with you. I will take this opportunity to apologise for lowering myself to your level. Good night all im off to find the ignore button.
  20. Trying not to swear here. You assume you know mire than others about everything. I know what the army does i didnt insult or criticise. Just pointing out we like to blow up poor people and waste billions on useless, out of date, non independent weapons. Try debating a point on a non personal attack level.
  21. Im not naive and please stop suggesting so. I don't feel the need to insult you in this discussion. I asked the question what part of our defence budget is actually spent in defence and people stated that the army were used to defend against terrorism after Manchester. No they werent they were used to do the polices jobs. So this part of the defence budget wasnt spent on defence. If we spent less money on starting wars we might not of had to cut the police budget quite so much and we may be less worried about people blowing us up With nuclear war heads.
  22. No. I understand what your saying but i disagree. People arent nukeing all the countries without nukes are they. Australia for example. Much smaller than us and no need for a deterrent. Lets say for example that the powers that be in north korea decide to chuck a nuke in our direction. Do you think it would be right for us to chuck one back. Killing millions of innocent people because one nutter was power crazed?
  23. I agree with most of this. Not the part about me being naive though. You made my point for me by saying thats its too late sending the army in afrter the event. We need to act sooner. Sending the army out after the manchester bombings didnt really deter anything it just made people feel bettter. The army arent effective in situations like this as people will just drive around in a van and plow unto people then get out and stab the ones they missed. The army cam do little against this.
  24. I wouldnt disband the armed forces but i may have them blowing up a few less poor people. Like i said tell me one situation where we would use trident and it would make the situation better. No nukes have been fired at us in anger but then neither have they at the countless countries wiith no nuclear deterrent either. I believe only 9 countries have nukes of there own and several others share nukes with nato as the holder. Why isn't everyone else getting nuked?
  25. I dont think i criticised anybody did i . Just asked you to expand on your post. I leave all the criticism and name calling in this thread to you.
