    Army didn't defend anybody against terrorism to my knowledge. They were a little late to the party. Im not trying to belittle the soldiers and the duty they perform. Judt saying tha the vast majority of our "defence" budget has absolutely nothing to do with defence.

    What Kevin said is true, two people can look at the same problem/statement and see two different things. The only way the capitalist world we live in can suceed is to continually boom and bust devastating the lives of some of the poorer people or to totally destroy the planet. The resources open to us are finite and perpetual growth is impossible.
