  1. Give that man a toffee. No expensive r and d. No multinationals corrupting the planet. Much better tool than makitas
  2. Osmo poly x matt. Put it on take it off quick. Light sand and same again. Don't buff it. Will bring out colour and darken a bit but will still be Matt.
  3. That looks pointless. Did they reinvent the wheel. No they just made a pointless wheelbarrow that's harder to control .
  4. Vesp for president! Or maybe just Chief Justice. Remember if vesp thinks like that then obviously we all should or we are wrong.
  5. I may be interested. What size is it.?
  6. That is very cheap 2 years ago I imported a reel of it from the USA as the only place I could buy it was fuelwood and they want £200+ or something for a 190 link loop or the lucas. Your selling it cheaper than it cost me imported and delivered and I still had to make the loops up myself. Make sure the lucas owners know you have it.
  7. Why did that post as a link?
  8. Does that mean you will start selling 27rx Rob?
  9. I think the historical problem is that most arborists can't afford a multione loader. Not sure about the solution though.
  10. If I didn't have a router if try and find a joinery shop to flatten it for me. A friend of mine would put that through his sander for me for £20.
  11. Best not to cut it if you can in my opinion. Where in the country are you.
  12. Yes it is. Small patch of sapwood in front middle gives it away. Hard to grain match burry wood. Lovely table though
  13. Good point. Can't help you then. Air dried only for me What you needing it for?
  14. Good one.
  15. Shouldn't speak for him but that top is made of 3 boards so wouldn't need a huge planer. Just a careful glue up and some sanding.
  16. You want it green or seasoned?
  17. Yes they said one red and one green Thanks
  18. Brother in law had these maples down and asked me if I wanted the wood. 2 trees that look the same to me but they think that had different colour foliage. One is much bigger than the other. First two pics are the smaller one.
  19. Best wishes Mark. Be lucky.
  20. Your weights are out. If they were correct both pine and beech would sink in water which they don't. 1m3 of water weighs 1tonne so 1m3 of wood that floats must weigh less.
  21. Had a free morning and friend wanted some cedar so we milled up this one I've had a while 2.5m long 800 wide.
  22. Look like cracking little boards. Well done
  23. Was a nice surprise tree. Some slabs would of been nice but unfortunately I didnt have my slabber with me , and I wanted to seize the opportunity to get it milled. Last brown oak i did was full of pin hole borer holes and was disappointing. No plans for it. I will just let it dry and see what happens. Sell it or use it.
  24. Treated it with boron just to make sure I don't get any nasties in it.
  25. Here are the boards
