  1. I sold my 346xpg to Adam (Bourne) last year and am seriously regretting it now, wish I'd flogged my 550 instead.
  2. How minor is this lane? How many cars/hour?
  3. Killing a tree by ring barking equals felling as far as felling licenses are concerned. Pruning, isn't as far as I can see, providing you are not intentionally killing the tree entirely.
  4. Cut them down to 1m stumps, then pull them over with a (hand-) winch whilst cutting roots with a mattock (or Axe if you have one you don't like that much). Hawthorn roots are not deep/widespread generally.
  5. Höhler, Hobler, Rindenschäler, Sägeführungen, Kettenfräsen, Kleinsägewerke, Messhilfen, Bohrgeräte, Seilwinden, Sägebock, Holz - Spaltgeräte, Schubkarren, Schärfmaschinen, Windräder, Motorgeräte, Schleif-Service,

  7. hought this may be of use to somebody? 1995 MERCEDES-BENZ 814 in Throckmorton | Auto Trader Trucks The 814 I had (not a 4x4) was probably the best vehicle I've ever owned and will own. Rock solid engineering,
  8. Use 13" on my 550, used to be on 15. The 13 is noticeably quicker and handles nicer without feeling like I've lost useful length somehow. Tried it on 18 once, just once...
  9. It'll go a bit forwards, then back to where it started off. It makes an arc with the furthest forward part of the curve at the height where the line from the pivots to the forks us horizontal (just under halfway up)

  11. Crane it over.
  12. Open admissions of being wrong are so rare on forums, this deserves a mention.
  13. I got my Treeshirtz hoodie! Thanks very much Mr Egg!
  14. Works fine for me too?
  15. Not all Americans are clever it seems...? Seems silly, like buying a Tesla S and swapping the electrics for a small block V8?
  16. Depends on the job. I've got a customer in London who's happy to pay the £150 extra for travel on a half day job. I take the wife and kids, drop them off at a tube station, do some work and join them. Gets us a free day trip to London.
  17. I'm curious as to what "the problem" is?
  18. Does this thread go against the "naming and shaming" rule?
  19. Contact Mike Dempsey on here, his website is "pens of distinction" iirc.
  20. It was in Sleaford, about 5 miles from me. I sent the seller a message 6 days ago with no reply at all so didn't bid...
  21. It really is that simple, just grind those two baffle bits, tune and you're done.
  22. Dolphin browser for android is free, as is Firefox for both Mac and windows.
  23. I get this on both my phone (android on dolphin browser) and 'puters (laptop running windows 8/Firefox , and macbook/firefox)
