  3. When you mean truck you on about transit.
  4. Truck probably just sat there spinning wheels. As with most trees being pulled with not a big enough machine, they go the wrong way.
  5. My brother had a old green Bosch he couldn't brake it, Bosch blue is good. Decide which make and look at other tools they do so you only run one make of batteries.
  6. Spec would be just hack it back. Consent not needed as it's just been do near me and what a mess they have left trees in. They will not be interested in day rate.
  7. Maybe they should be underpants after there reputation.
  8. Bit of hedge cutting opening up the view
  9. Just get permission to drop them out the back and stack as habitat piles.
  10. Had a bit of a walk about and got more pictures, first picture is only a part of a shelter belt which is about 300m that is affected. There is no signs of dark lesions. I was wrong saying Leylandi where affected they are not.
  11. If you hire regular from a company and take it back clean you may get a good deal, there's a tree company ran for years in my area that use ply sides on transits, they run one with out ply sides for logs but if a truck is out of action just switch ply sides to that one.
  12. Sit full bags on pallets makes moving them about easy and keep them of the floor.
  13. There is no way its road salt as road never gets salted. Will get more pictures tomorrow if I remember it so a big area woodland area has it right to back behind houses.
  14. None of a the above. The area I am look at is over 10 acres and dead end road. Also found a Beech tree that has died plus walking up road couple of holly hedges that don't look good.
  15. On a job today and nearly every conifer has signs of dying, lawsons, thuja Leylandi and Scott's pine they are over multiple gardens and piece of woodland near by any ideas. Pictures are of Thuja.
  16. Christ £1000. Did a job a couple of months ago with traffic management controlling traffic with 2 way lights on A120 in Essex so all had to go through Highways England, after hours so 20.00 to 5.00 all in £550.
  17. Run a ifor trailer with 195/50-13, have nankang tyres fitted have problems with small stones puncturing them right through edge of tread making them un repairable, anyone recommend better make of tyres.
  18. I am think its not domestic customer if street lights have got to be cut around. Can you not just work between two trucks with beacons on always go on near me by utility companies.
  19. All traffic management I have used never do site visit always street view it and take through what I need from them. Surely spec for quote will state what traffic management is needed.
  20. As said 12v portable winch is heavy and limited to how many pulls before battery go's flat. Winch on truck is best if truck is stuck but you still need something to anchor it to, i have pulled lots of root out in back garden with truck mounted winch with the aid of snatch blocks to change direction of pull. Some with just straight pull
