  2. I use a small engineers vice bolted to a piece of ply 6in X 8in sits on floor of truck or ground.
  3. That is the problem with gravity feed chippers they don't produce a good chip, they are at braking brash down to ruff chips. To get a uniform chip you have got to have a power feed.
  4. Have you tried putting it under tread plate so it has to work to get at it.

  8. Bought a FARMA 4.6 Crane from Andrew Holmes a couple of months ago very pleased with it was a good price as well. Jas Wilson never returned my calls I rang 4 times then gave up with them.

  11. I agree. But why have good yew trees got to be felled in the first place. Can't they be reduced??
  12. Wells larmont leather gloves for thorny stuff. I've just been trying Click / Warrior off Ebay good all rounder for conifer hedge cutting, moving logs and climbing. Most gloves I have tried in the pasted I manage to pull holes in fingers and palms when climbing but no on these ones just wear them out.

One time when I went and got some wiper blade for my Land rover 130 I took them up on the fitting service, lad came out with me and stood near my Land rover 90 I said get in then he looked a bit puzzled then I told him this isn't the Land rover there for, there for the other one sitting in my drive. He didn't see the funny side.
  14. Please don't take this the wrong way but it would be better telling manufacturers about there problem with there product's than on here. Has anyone done so and got a reply.
  15. The trouble with tree work there all in diffrent places, and a lot of tree that need a cherrypicker aren't that easy to get at. I have hired 8 diffrent ones in the past could not have bought one to do all the jobs.
  16. Never tried it. But I had a alley tool locker made by a company and the lad there could weld alley with a mig, but he was doing all day long he could probably do it standing on his head by the Finnish on my locker.
  17. How was the timber and brash cleared after felling.
  18. Not a bad video, but why did you fell them at waist height then cut stump lower?.
  19. Now if that was 2 stroke powered then it would be more fun.
