    I saw one of these with the tines removed and turn a round and remounted along back beam also some mounted pointing upwards looked a bit Heath Robinson but it work well.

    Woodland means stumps so I would say no, unless It's built for the job intendered you will bend tines. My old boss had an old silage buck rake was a good tool for light hedge cuttlngs but he still managed to bend 3 tines in 1 push.

    One job of today. Conifer removal from back garden, winched root out by sitting landy in line with door way to back just got it only 4 turns left on drum.

    With a grapple / tongs on the back of a tractor if It's 4 wheel drive you need weights on the front other wise you may as well have a 2 wheel drive. It's also down to the driver and what weight you ate planing to pull.

    As it looks like a FOLEY Built L/R if it was any good they would probably buy it back to re-furb or break for spares. Give them a ring with the reg number the will be able to tell you the spec when it was built.
