  1. I don't see the requirement to hire an engineer to tell the owner to dig the kitchen floor up, I've already done that. The damage is localized, so if a root is the cause it's under the 'light structure damage' category of tree root problems. I may call back to suggest that the clients insurers are advised of the situation, simply to cover myself. Lots of good points and suggestions so far, thank you everyone who has contributed. What it boils down is, what qualification have you got to advice, and any strucual damage needs looking at properly and insurance companys will cop out if not told of any problem they need to now about so telling them is best.
  2. Strucual engineer's job to work out problem then call tree man in if trees a problem. But they can get it wrong.

  4. Can't see how this would work on 3120xp as cable is attached to trigger and you just can not see in there anyway.

  7. Try another new plug I have found new plugs to be faulty.
  8. Throttle cable went on husky 3120 yesterday, tried to remove trigger pins with no joy with punch and hammer so spent some time head scratching trying to workout how to warm it up. Landed up with soldering iron on the end of pin to warm it then hit with punch and hammer result. Any one got other helpfull tips.

  11. No jokes know, but by putting 16'' wheels on you are only going to get a extra inch and a half more clearance is it worth the hassle.

  15. Just crack on, got to a job last year which was booked for 8.30-9.00 start no one in gate lock which has boarded panel above so about 12 foot high. Spoke to neighbour there out was the answer from them. Any way after a long talk to them I went over fence and unlocked gate, owners wife came back a hour later like hell in her car jumped out saying sorry was in a rush and for got then asked how we got in looking puzzled.

  18. My brother has a Makita little 18v circular saw same batteries as the drill he has so has 3 batts 1 packed up the other day when saw got jamed, on investigating inside batt solder had melted on + wire re-soldered it and now works again.
  19. My brother bought a little green bosch drill years ago that drill went on and on. Used to take corn bins apart, old water tanks plus drill loads of hole. Do not make un like that any more .
  20. If your truck is sign written with name and address is that not the same or not worse as they have you address aswell.
