  1. Saw very similar last week could not get pictures. Medium size oak being dead wooded 1 bloke with chainsaw looked like a ms170 tied to his waist with a bit of rope walking about in tree then when he wanted to get further up to top of tree picked ladder from up tree placed it in fork and rested in crown and climbed up it. And when they were clearing up young lad cutting log with same saw 1handed will handing bit of wood in the air with other.

  5. Any good metal fabricater should be able to make you some brackets up. Charlie miller at micro plant is the person to talk to he bought all the last ones made, he hires them out with allsorts of attachment, he is in Suffolk.

  7. Have you got any major construction work going on near you like water / gas pipes going in the ground, a lot of big stuff tractors/ trailers went missing near me when construction of a new major water pipe by a Irish contractor.

    Adapt

    Has anyone turned a chainsaw into a hand held circular saw for ripping timber down. Not a concrete saw.
  12. Done some in the past and not a job I like every thing wet or gets wet, always a job to stand in the right place to cut stuff off. Not a job I would want to do every day or week .
  13. ARB Ireland is probably worth a try there quick on delivery as well if in stock.

  16. As said already dealer should be able to get then. Make the saw wider but more handy on some jobs very good on hard wood snedding as you can stand in safer place and still operate saw. Best to run one with one without .
  17. I bought one a couple of months ago for my husky 362xp also fit right up to 385xp, it came off EBay and was in the UK had to look for along time then 3 where on there at the same time my one was new old stock £70 round abouts.
  18. May have wrong chain fitted so look on bar for info and go from that.
  19. As said above but check clutch bearing is OK and that nothing else is jamming clutch to crank shaft ( small bits of wire or string can do this)

  24. I had a HTC explorer for 5 years in pocket every day and when climbing did not brake, after a cock up by EE had to get a new phone so replaced it with another.
  25. Why is inner tube to thin if sandwiched with carb and exhaust.
