  3. Got this from a scrap yard for £30 and a sheet af 1/4" steel plate to put under the floor to bolt it onto for strength. it is hand pump and will lift a full ton bad of logs, I plan at some time to plumb it into the tipper moter for speed and plain old lazyness. worth every penny 10 times over! is this used with a hand pump? i see you have legs on the trailer, are they Ifor standard, are they a must in your opinion? how would you switch between tipper and crane?
  4. not so much how much i want to lift, but more how much does the crane + power pack vs maximum capacity of the trailer.
  5. looking to mount a small crane onto my ifor williams tipping trailer, have a few ideas but would like to hear any suggestions / recommendations from anyone who has done this already or anyone who has one. photos would be good too!!

  10. mate, before i quit subbying i was asking £150 a day. ok i didnt work every day but i could work 2 days and bring home the same amount as at 60 for 5 days and have 3 days less running costs.
  11. Ah, so you must be one of those lingering snipers then? I've not got patience to wait and always forget ending times, so i stick in my max willing to pay and forget about it till i get an email.
  12. what i meant was - you quote the job at £700, job finished, client asks can i pay by card - yes but +£20 - or you can bacs (my personal fave).
  13. I would brace at any time but follow up with a check in 3 months then 6 months, adjustments can be made to suit.
  14. one i looked at charged 2.75% per transaction = nearly a tenner per £350. clients might go for it on smaller jobs but cant see them being happy paying an extra 10-20-30 quid just to use their card,
  15. I looked into this a while back and remember something about water jackets? but dont know the ins and outs sorry.
  16. You mean your looking for free stuff? I should have realised when you said you were near to Kdy, in which case ....... no, sorry.
