  2. One of the best points about Eco plugs for me is that the client can see that you have actually gone to the effort of bosching something into the stumps, whereas they have to take your work for it if you spray.
  3. I've taken a few sycamore down recently from St Andrews up to Blairgowrie, all have spotting.

  18. try not to focus on losing one small job, or you will end up shooting yourself. I recently priced a job at 800, client phoned back to say that someone else was going to do it for 550 and would i beat that price, i told him no way let the other guy break his back for that, i forget all about it and 2 months later the client comes back on the phone, the guys started the job then pissed of, can i sort it out - yes no problem for 840 - ok, when can you start.

  20. My simpathies mate, know your plight to well. As Mr Blair said - adapt and survive. I would recomend, assuming you can cover the bills, pissing off with a tent for a few weeks , if your into that sort of thing. While ago i took out income protection insurance, basically covers a portion of your income if you cant work, whatever the reason, they dont care about previous ailments, enough to cover bills and survive

  22. You dont need a chipper to start with, you will know when you do. Why do i keep reading all this stuff about being a saturated market? what pish. Dont listen to them, if your good you will get work, some times more than you can handle. In the mean time just look to make enough to survive untill your name gets out there.
