  1. I use my 550 for tree surgery, first one had issue, exchanged it under warranty for a new saw, runs a treat
  2. I looked into using this stuff for my cabstar, decided not to, I read somewhere it expends a lot when hot, so it would be awkward attaching to a vehicle securely

  8. I think if I had your budget, I'd possibly consider a old landrover discovery, 7 seats when needed, you could fold the seats down for a large space in the back, tows 3.5t and 4x4. Just a thought
  9. Modern turbo diesels can achieve 30%more hp,so it can be worth doing, just it means you may go through parts quicker

  11. How would you guys go about seasoning a hollow ring of wood like that without it splitting? The shrinkage would split it surely

    Yards...

    I'm only small in comparison with a lot of you guys company's , I tip woodchip in other folks yards, and I have my own yard where the payment is free wood for the owners fire, it's maybe 2/3rds of a acre on hard standing , with a bonfire spot too. Sorted!
  14. My mate has a 130 single cab,went on two different weigh bridges,one said 2.4t the other 2.7t unladen ,with him and half a tank of fuel for both measurements, and that's with a alloy body on the back!

    Eco Plugs

    I understand more plugs for bigger stumps, but is there like a guide or something to determing this? like plug to stump ratio?Anyone care to explain please

  21. I personally can't fault my husky 576xp autotune,I run a 24" on it and pulls it well .i have used the new 441 with the ecu and a 372 and prefer the 576. The chain speed is slower than the 441/372 but it has more tourqe,which is why I bought it ,so when using up a tree it just keeps cutting even if it gets punched just a bit whilst doing step cuts or such . I've heard good things about the 80cc makita ,highest power to weight ratio saw on the market I believe,maybe worth looking into it . Cheers,steve
