  1. I thought I'd share this with you, last night our farm workshop was broken into, the alarm was activated and I was on scene within 5 mins, the bastards had ripped the door off by pulling it with a 4x4 and chain, once in they cut the lock from the ground anchor that was securing the quad bike, it was then lifted into the back of a pick up and gone. They didnt touch the saws or the racing quad that wasn't secure. What the scum didn't know was after having four other quads nicked in the past 2 years we had a tracker fitted, once we had activated it the police get a code and up goes the chopper it locates our quad 15 miles away, the chopper followed it for an hour through rural villages and even along a train track, eventually they decide to turn off there lights and drive across a few fields to hide, the chopper spotlights them and the 4 occupants get out and give themselves up, within minutes the ground units arrest them, I was fortunate to here the chase over the police radio very exiting stuff. if you value your kit get a tracker fitted It's well worth the money, Oh and talking to the police this morning the thieves were from a traveling community in Wiltshire and well known by several police forces.
