  2. Hi, mate I too share your passion in bushcraft/ woodcraft welcome to the forum Paul
  3. I was sat with four of our local firemen in one of our fields when we saw a huge black cat walk along the opposite hedge to us, (about 100 mtrs) we sat in total disbelief watching it, I had binoculars so I got a great close up of it, once it was out of site we went looking for tracks but due to the dry ground we couldnt make them out but we did conclude that the stubble in the field was 9 inches long and there was easily another 9inch gap between the top of the stubble and it's belly, it's tail was a meter long but it's head was the size of a domestic cat.
  4. I'm not convinced, i would even be willing to bet that if the flash was turned off you wouldn't see them.

  8. I thought ghost were inveted in Victorian times, to scare house staff so that they wouldn't leave there rooms at night and get up to naughty things, I do believe are eyes have the ability to read certain situations before our brain can fully comprehend what's going on.

  16. All in with a doubler and a long range illuminator £499 but ive seen them sell on eBay for £300.
  17. Dedicated, I can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone, you need the bigger bolt on illuminator but it's well worth getting it, you can see fairly clear to 100yrds with the bolt on illuminator, I bought an inferred filter for my clulite and I bolt that to the night scope and that gives me a good 400 yards to spot, the down side is the low magnification you can get a doubler that screws on to give you 4x.
  18. Yukon sentinel nvrs I use it on my .22 rim .17hmr for everything from rats to foxs and not alot more than scope lamp combo.
  19. Try Ben orford knives, he makes great carving tools, and I would like to think I'm ray mears biggest fan, but mate you need to get out more.
  20. Mental!!
  21. Get nightvision 1st gen with 100yrd inferred illuminator well worth the money.
  22. Ditto!
  23. If its got a screw thread then you can fit a nipple.
  24. I auger a small hole the size of a pencil, cut a sycamore or hazel twig and split into two, scrape a groove in the twig then push it into the hole in the tree, when I've collected a cupful I then fashion another twig to plug the hole.
