  1. Anyone with an ounce of decency would notice and query it!
  2. Good vid mate thoroughly enjoyed it:0)
  3. What's with the third degree Rob? All tho I must say it all seems a bit suspicious!
  4. I've had a look at agg college and hartpury and I've asked to be put on the April course at the agg, hartpury is also held at the agg and price is the same, so as long as I can scrape the money together and there is space on the course I'll give it a go.

  6. I'll do some ringing around tomorrow to see what's available.
  7. Doing my cs38 is on my to do list, it's as you say the time aspect! feb, march are the only months I can do it! I was thinking Arbour venture, where would you recommend? Its a shame they don't do it at the agg collage!
  8. It's the Arboricultural Association, Arb tree challenge isn't it? I've just found the rules and it does state that all climbers competing must have nptc cs38! So that's my competition climbing out the window. Rupe you'll be glad it's not all covered in sawdust when you inherit it! ;0)
  9. Hi, Nick can you confirm that you have to be a qualified climber to compete?
  10. What about AA comps?
  11. Really! I would love to compete one day! If I ever get good enough.
  12. I've not done my cs38, yet! as I'm not in arb related work. but love to climb.
  13. Sadly no! I'm not able to compete as I'm not a certified climber! Over the last 12 months my climbing has improved massively and I wanted to test myself to see if I could do it, that's why I'm thinking of setting myself a work climb, so any suggestions or advice would be gratefully received.
  14. Thankyou Peter that's exactly what I wanted to know.
  15. So they randomly put bells around a tree?
  16. Nice one mate.
  17. This might be a silly question but here goes! Is there a criteria that is followed when setting out the work climb for competition?
  18. Glow in the dark clothes pegs! Genius! My misses would love them
  19. But if it gives you pleasure why does it have to pay for itself?
  20. Ian I would be interested to know how you would deal with the kind of situation Rupe is talking about i.e rope against the limb and all your weight on the rope, I set the very same scenario and nearly ruptured something trying to get over it.
  21. Defeatist attitude that is!!
  22. Buy a cube for your throw line and a few more throw bags! The cube will save alot of time packing your throwline away.
  23. Great vid mate.
  24. What's a silky? I thought you lot were just being friendly!
