  4. I used patches for two weeks, it was easier than I thought it would be but I did have an incentive we found out my wife was expecting our first child, if you take it one day at a time you'll get there, just tell yourself I did it yesterday I can do it again today Good luck

  6. Woodland-ways.co.uk Win a free weekend bushcraft course
  7. I bought one for my wife to stop her from hitting her shins with my axe it's ok for light work but not a lot of good for knotty stuff and it's slow!
  8. Try woodland ways, I've heard some great feedback about there courses
  9. Worzel gummidge ? Was that before or after the mankini modelling?
  10. They also use pieces of White china to mark area's where roosting pheasants are so they can poach them, I've also found paths of china shards leading across fields to remote barns that have had there stone tiles stripped.
  11. Dixon bate sliding hitch, nothing worse than towing a four wheel trailer on two wheels
  12. We get half a dozen amateurs a year filming porn on the estate, the one that stick in my mind was two French girls getting very well aquatinted totally nude in one of our woods, It was a shame my misses was with me, I had to tell them to leave much to my disappointment.
  13. We used to play jump rope when I was in the boy scouts, perhaps if my scout leader had used a chainsaw on the rope like this guy I wouldn't be as fat as I am now.

  18. I saw this and thought I'll try it, this guy goes up on srt and because he's tied in using alpine butterfly all he does is tie the side the alpine is on to his saddle and descend drt, I've tried it and it works well.
  19. This system was showed to me by the stein guy nigal, he rigged it up in jonesis tent, I was sold on it that's why I bought the same setup just not in the stein gear.
  20. The hitch runs smooth as your not putting any weight on it until you want to come down, and yes putting a figure 8 under the hitch or a prussic on the line the knot won't bind as much, I tried with less wraps on the distel and that worked better but preferred using figure 8.
  21. You have a 9inch gap between hitch and ascender so you stand up on the pantin slide up the hitch lower your weight onto hitch allowing ascender to be un clipped.
  22. This was shown to me at the show it gives you the ability to self rescue, I've tried it and it's great but lots of friction on the distel! However by using a prussic above the ascender it gives you twice the friction which helps with decent. Sorry dodgy pics but gives the general idea
  23. Is that the Knut climbing hitch Rupe ?
  24. Roses are red Violets are blue I'm a scitsafrenic And so am I
