  6. Fuel is a couple of months old
  7. MS390 has started to play up.Starts ok after about 6 pulls which is usual But then as soon as I try to give it revs it just dies,changed the fuel filter as I thought it was fuel starvation but it made no difference,just the same with or without the chain and bar on Gradually got worse over the last few weeks any help gratefully received

Really complicated problem,because if you get some timber at a really good price and you sell stuff cheap it's very hard to justify putting the prices way up when you have to spend on more expensive timbers. A lot of the time price seems irrelevant,i went through a stage of reducing my prices right down and didn't sell any more,put my prices back up and sold more,you just can't tell See you soon Dan
  10. Looks like it might have rot in it I have had them before where they are sound on the outside but rotten inside where the hole is Otherwise a nice burr but too far for me
  11. Careful I experimented by putting 4 boards of Yew on ebay with no reserve 6ft long and 12ins wide and from 1 to 2 ins thick ,just did it to test the water and see what they fetched £6.51 for all 4 Its a difficult market at the minute
  12. Hi Alec I use OSMO wood protector all the time and don't have problems with blue staining I tend to use the wood protector first then finish with poly x oil If you want me to send you some I would be more than happy cheers
  13. Can be made to look quite nice turned Made this bowl from a chestnut burr Dyed with a pale blue to make it look like onyx

  16. Coombe Abbey woodturners are holding a show next year Sept 13th and require crafters to come and show off their goods and sell as much as they can,Any crafts but with an emphasis on wood Hope we can find people interested Any profits go to the air ambulance PM me

I'm afraid we won't be able to pay but you can sell your goods no problem all proceeds go to the air ambulance Logs can be supplied by Coombe Abbey Hope this will be the first in a long line of shows lots of crafts required but with the emphasis on wood Anybodt help
